They're not shocks they're struts. It requires spring compressors and air impact tools.


Unless you have them and the know how how to compress strut springs. don't do it. It can be dangerous.

It's why it's a lot of money to have it done.

I am not familiar with this model but have experienced a similar nightmare on a very model. I suspect that the child safety locks are set which is stopping you opening the doors from the inside and the outside handles are not working because the latches may have been set in the locked position.

Try, jumping the car with cables, make sure you didn't accidentally pull the solenoid wire from the starter, , if it turns over still nothing check your injectors plugs,

I don't think that's possible. You need to remove the subwoofer to get to some of the screws. Space where is the metal plate? In the front? That's normal it Has two it has 2 plastic pins. Pull up the front, keep the lid level than Lift the back straight up.

The OBD Code p1774 reads the affected subsystem as Transmission eg. a fault in the Trans. Computer and provides the exact problem as a faulty rear left speed sensor. Check the wire for power reading over 12Volt.

The starter relay sits in a relay panel above the glove compartment. You have to remove the glove box and drop it down. The relay panel looks like a white storage tray, and it has 4 relays in it - a tall black one in the back, and three short white ones in front. The starter relay is the short white one furthest to the left.

Check microswitch in bonnet catch using a multimeter in continuity setting. To do this you will need to disconnect the microswitch connector and remove.

If you short the connector with a piece of wire and check the dash. This will simulate a switch closure. If it still shows bonnet open, then the wiring from the bonnet sensor switch is damaged and will need to be fixed.

check the fuel pressure and then the plugs. There should be a code and a check engine light.
