How do you know it's getting too much fuel ? Fuel injectors leaking maybe . This model has a fuel pump driver module ( pump computer controlled ) Doesn't need a regulator .Is the check engine light lit ? There is a fuel rail pressure sensor that is an input to the PCM - engine computer , PCM use's this info to tell the fuel pump driver module as to how much to duty cycle the fuel pump on an off . The fuel pump doesn't run continuously at fuel speed .
Your best bet mite be to have a qualified repair shop check it out . Need factory or professional type scan tool too check data inputs to the PCM an commands to driver module.

It's not a fuse , the SJB - smart junction box controls these lights ! This is fords body control module . If the Heater / A/C control panel ,hazard switch ,headlamp switch , message center switch all work, it is not a fuse . The gear shifter I would say the bulb is burnt out . The steering wheel lights could be out because of an open in the clock spring . The clock spring is a device inside the steering column under the steering wheel that keeps your horn , cruise control , radio buttons etc... connected electrically . How cars clock spring works

Check the voltage on your battery. When the battery is low, you will still have lights and what not but not enough juice to start the car. Check the condition of your battery cables especially your ground. If everything check out fine, your problem may be a bad starter or the solenoid. If you replace the starter, replace the solenoid with it. Be sure to check the cable from the starter solenoid to the starter.

You might have 2 problems. First is the cold start should have a choke plate that closes so the engine will run a little rich until warmed up, then the choke should be fully open. Second is the run on, that is usually caused by carbon build up in the cylinders. The carbon gets hot and ignites the fuel air mixture without the spark plug sparking. The carbon build up might be cleaned up by using sea foam. Spray into the carb while running and warmed up. Spray it until the engine sputters and stops. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then start the car. When the sea foam is an oil that gets under the carbon and while running at operating temperature it burns off taking some of the carbon with it.

Being it's a 2016, i would simply take it to the dealer. Iwould think it should still be under warranty.

The first thing I would do is a hard reset this should put most modules back to factory specs. The hard reset is done by disconnecting both battery cables and holding them together for a minute or more. Then see what acts up next. I hope this helps. Take care. If you have questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email.
