Is this a two or four door ? Front passenger door ? Doesn't have a fuse , has a circuit breaker . If front driver window works the circuit breaker is good . All power runs through the driver master switch . Take the door panel off an check power coming to switch an motor .Check for broken wire's inside the rubber boot from the body to that passenger door .

You can replace just the outer shell, but suggest replacing the inner circuit board also.

It isn't a speed sensor. In 1989 all GM front drives were hydraulic shift. Do you know if it is a three speed or four speed. The speed sensor in 1989 only controls the speedometer. Also can you describe the problem. Does it just slip? Only certain gears?

These are on fuse #2
Horn
right and left lighted vanity mirrors in the visors check at the hinge you can pull the wires out far enough to unplug them. Then install fuse if it doesn't blow plug them in 1 at a time
depending on exact model the dome and rear light may also be on this fuse. I hope this helps. Take care.

Go to an auto-parts store, walk up to the counter, tell them you need a belt, and they'll get you the belt you need.

If you're replacing the handle because it broke cut the wire and use it to pull the new one down through the column, if you're just taking it out look for the small connector under the dash and attach a piece of wire to it then unplug it and pull it up and out of the column then unscrew the handle there are flats cut into the handle for this purpose. Pull enough wiring up to accomplish your project then pull it back down when done. I hope this helps. Take care.

No need to cross-reference your car to others - many aftermarket replacement motors are available from parts suppliers - just visit one of the websites or stores and tell them what you need.

If you're replacing the tank just punch a hole in the tank with a large sharp punch, if you're going to have it repaired Do this, disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail and push a hose over the end and the other end into a container then locate the fuel pump prime connector it's the red wire right front of engine compartment jump battery positive into the connector you should hear the fuel pump run and fuel should flow, I usually can't find the connector so if that happens locate the fuel pump relay (I think it's in position "n") in the under hood fuse and relay box remove the relay and use a short piece of wire to jumper terminal #30 into #87 the pump will run. I hope this helps. Take care.
