Does the A/C compressor engage ? Does the heater work ? Possible A/C compressor clutch if not turning on or A/C compressor clutch relay . Viewing a wiring diagram an testing the electrical circuits would be the way to find the problem . The Trainer 40 When the compressor won compress
DTC C0131 00: ABS Pressure Circuit No Additional Information
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) uses input from the brake pressure sensor for more accurate control during a Vehicle Stability Enhancement System (VSES) event.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
• Brake signal does not correlate to pressure signal.
• Signal is erratic and changes faster than physically allowed.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• The Traction Control indicator turns ON.
• The driver information center (DIC) displays the Service Stability System message.
Apply and release brake pedal. Verify brake lamps operate properly.
? If brake lamps do not operate properly, refer to Symptoms - Lighting Systems .
Replace EBCM/brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly.
DTC C0196 00: Yaw Rate Circuit No Additional Information
The vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) is activated by the electronic brake control module (EBCM) calculating the desired yaw rate and comparing it to the actual yaw rate input. The desired yaw rate is calculated from measured steering wheel position, vehicle speed, and lateral acceleration. The difference between the desired yaw rate and actual yaw rate is the yaw rate error, which is a measurement of oversteer or understeer. If the yaw rate error becomes too large, the EBCM will attempt to correct the vehicle yaw motion by applying differential braking to the wheels.
DTC U1000: Class 2 Data Link
Modules connected to the class 2 serial data circuit monitor for serial data communications during normal vehicle operation. Operating information and commands are exchanged among the modules. When a module receives a message for a critical operating parameter, the module records the identification number of the module which sent the message for state of health (SOH) monitoring. A critical operating parameter is one which, when not received, requires that the module use a default value for that parameter. When a module does not associate an identification number with at least one critical parameter within about 5 seconds of beginning serial data communication, DTC U1000 or U1255 is set. If more than one critical parameter does not have an identification number association, the DTC will only be reported once.
Hi. Thanks for your question. For assistance of thermostat issues on a GMC envoy with 4 wheel drive you can visit https://www.reliable-store.com and download the entire workshop manual which includes all the information along with the diagrams for better understanding. Good day!
These are two separate issues. The BCM (body control module) is having problems. IT may be corrected by removing the fuse for it for a couple of minutes. Pull fuses 16 and 31. The P0140 code is an issue with the air pump. IT is not able to inject air in the emission system to reduce pollution. Check fuses 54 and 56.
No need for the switch, there is a recall for this issue, doesn't cover all years, however, it DOES affect all years. Replace relay #43 under the hood in the fuse box. Turn your lights on, swap the relay #46 with #43 (right next to it), your lights will go on. Very common problem.
That's an indication of either a blown fuse or a shorted module somewhere on the digital bus. A pro scan tool can track down which module is misbehaving. If you don't have one, you have to disconnect each module on the bus one at a time until you get a connection. That's the only way to diagnose with tools
You should be seeing BCM trouble codes (DTCs) for the radio with a code reader. I am assuming you are hearing something (noise) from the speakers with the radio on. If so, you may have lost the programming in the radio - you could try re-flashing it. However, that radio has a number of memory locations that are set whenever the radio is turned on - one or more memory modules in the radio may now be faulty.
You may have a throttle position sensor starting to act up. That's the system anyway. The unfortunate thing is, you have to replace the entire throttle body. Unlike most cars, it's not removable. On the fan....do you mean it's constantly loud like an airplane or big rig?
Take it an have it check at a qualified repair shop for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Could have problem with the liftgate/endgate module. Don't try guessing to find a repair .
The keyless entry system has the following main components:
• The transmitters
• The endgate module (EGM) (XUV only)
• The liftgate module (LGM) (Except XUV)
When you press a button on a transmitter, the transmitter sends a signal to the liftgate module. The module interprets the signal and activates the requested function via a class 2 message over the serial data line.
Do you know what class 2 serial data communication network is ?
You need a scan tool to program the remotes .
Program All Key Fobs
To complete this programming operation, all keyless entry transmitters associated with the vehicle must be available for programming. Once placed into program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased from memory upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.
Close the lift gate.
Ignition ON, access the scan tool Liftgate Module Setup menu and select Program All Key Fobs.
Follow the the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitters. Select "Start" on the scan tool to enter the program mode.
As each transmitter is successfully programmed, the scan tool will show how many transmitters have been placed into memory.
When all transmitters are programmed, exit the program mode by selecting "Stop" on the scan tool. The vehicle will not respond to the transmitters until the program mode is exited.
Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
engine soon light starts flashing off and on , this indicates a severe misfire which could damage the catalytic converter .There a few different thing's that will cause this .Plug wires , plugged fuel injectors low ,fuel pressure , If the check engine light is on or flashing ,DTC"S -diagnostic trouble codes will be stored .Have it check , most auto parts stores will do this for free ,an be glad to sell you parts .
