2006 Peugeot 206 1.6 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

if you have located it disconnect the battery and unplug it and undo the mount bolts or screws and replace it, if you have not located it observe the new one and look in the side kick panels or behind the glove box or ask a shop where it is located.

From the description, you could have a few different problems. First thing to check would be to make sure that the car is getting spark. The easiest way to check is to pull a spark plug wire from the coil or distributor and hold it close enough for a spark to jump between the post and the wire. wear rubber gloves so you don't get shocked. have someone turn the key while you hold the wire and look for the spark to jump. If you have spark, you may have a fuel issue. When you turn the key forward you should be able to hear a hum by the fuel tank ( rear or middle of the vehicle) someone else will have to turn the key once again. Even if you hear the hum it could still be a fuel issue. The list of problems that it could be is long so start with that and after you determine if the engine is getting spark the list narrows dramatically. If you have an OBD2 engine code scanner that would help also. let me know what the results are and I can advise further.

If you are positive that the bulb and connector are OK...then there could be several root causes:
Bad wiring:
There could be a short somewhere between the connector and fuse/relay or ground.
But you need to figure out first ... is it BOTH the high and low beams that are out on that side of the car?
I think your bulb has 3 spades for a combination high/low beam bulb. Knowing which line is dead helps on figuring out which wire(s) is the issue. If both high and low do not work ... then it is the ground wire.
If you have a voltmeter you can test out the wiring.
Bad Light Control Module (if your car has this; I could not confirm)
I am not sure if the Peugeot has a light control module but on some Saabs there is one and it caused your same symptom. Read link to learn more

Not familiar with that particular model, but on most you must first remove the seat back and seat cover to access the airbag.

Did you get the car plugged into a diagnostic reader after the battery change?
Some newer car ECU's need to be reset to 'new battery' settings. Over time the system alters the battery charge rate as the battery gets older and weaker so a new battery will overcharge if not reset..
The error code, (P0563), reads as "system voltage high".
Get the car plugged into a good diagnostic system and that will allow you to correct the error code and battery settings.
The other symptoms may settle down once the error code is sorted out.

If oil is not circulating around engine then there could be a blockage resulting in increase of oil pressure. But if your car is under warranty then why dont you take it back and mention your concern in case if something goes wrong.

Low battery....you can damage your ecu if you continue to use it. Open the bonnet and charge the battery with a external charger and after charging battery check the alternator whether its charging the battery.
