This came directly from my Hyundia service guy:

Unlock the car, get in and close all doors. Turn the ignition key to ACC, press the Unlock button till blinkers flash. That's it. Get out of the car and see if it works.

Good luck.

If you have the V-6, there are actually 3 converters. One on each engine bank and one after the Y pipe

I'd check first to see if the accelerator cable and bracket are in the correct place. If not mounted properly, this can cause a higher idle. If this is not the problem, find a shop that has the software and computer to adjust the idle speed.

It sounds as if there is a blockage either in the base of the screenwash reservoir or the feed pipe from the reservoir. You could remove the screenwash reservoir tank and clean it out and at the same time check the pipe.

Please remember to rate this solution.

Not actually au-fey with this model but some cars have a little button just above the key slot which needs pushing in to release the key lock. Another reason could be that the handbrake is not fully on. Thirdly try just pushing the key in hard before turning (usually) Anti-clockwise this will release the concealed internal lock.

Aftermarket alarms are fraut with problems. They all have a timer that rearms if the door isn't opened within a preset period, yours is set too short. Once the door is opened, the alarm should register itself as off, so that is a fault. You would need to take it to an authorised service centre and see if it is faulty or whether it has a dealer programming mode.
