Question about 1995 Pontiac Grand Am
I bought this car new, ABS light came on about three years ago at 120000 miles. Left caliper began to hang up so I replaced both and rear wheel cyls at the same time. two years later same thing started to happen with the left front caliper hanging up so I replaced just that one caliper. No change in the problem so I went to the junk yard and bought another master cyl with all ABS mechanism attached. Installed it and blead it and the entire system. I have the same results , left front wheel not fully releasing after brakes have been applied. Can I use an after market or an older power brake master cylinder that doesn't have ABS and make it work? I don't have a working ABS system as it is.
