SOURCE: battery removal on a 2004 GMC Envoy

The battery is on the right side behind the fuse box. You need a metric set to undo the 3 screws. Theres one that attaches to the body, one to the bar that goes along the top, and theres one on the left side below the vacuum hose and air induction. After you've taken out those three, you should lift the whole thing out(battery and shroud) together. It's hard to take the shroud off before you lift the battery out. After that, you have to pry the shoud off the battery. The two terminals in the back make it hard. Then just go to any auto parts store and they'll give you a new one.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 gmc

there is a plate on back of the engine that can leak, but it will appear like the oil pan or rear main seal is leaking. you will need to clean any residue off and then check it out.

How can I remove valve cover?

4.2 engine? It takes a bit to get it off. Why do you want to get to them? I can say these aren't your problem. And if they are, you have other problems that replacing them is only a short term fix.

Pulled plugs and oil on #6 cylinder,p0303 code changed coil pack now p0300.sluggish ,no burnt oil from exhaust, possible bad valve cover gasket ?

Yes valve cover gasket needs to be replaced, normally for sluggish I would be looking at a MAF mass air flow sensor.

There is oil in the coil packs. we are trying 2 change the plugs and they are 100% full of oil

The valve cover gaskets need to be changed. there are rubber grommets that keep oil out of the spark plug holes that dry out and harden with age. Replace gasket and grommets and oil will stay out.

I cant find the spark plugs on my 2004 gmc envoy

Assuming you are talking about the 6 cylinder engine, the spark plugs are under a cover on top of the engine. There is a coil pack on top of each spark plug, the plugs are recessed in the valve cover.

2005 GMC Envoy 4wd 4.2liter V6 check engine light is on.

The check valve is #12619128 and the gasket is #24577193. I think $65 and $75 respectively you can try websites like parts4chevy.com and gmpartsdirect.com.
your talking about the diverter valve for the AIR pump. In which case it is easy to do and its easily accesible in the engine bay. The valve is located at the passenger side by the transmission dipstick tube under the intake tube. Good luck
