This is the door open light indicator on your instrument panel correct? it thinks the door is open. do interior courtesy lights work? i.e. turn on off when opening doors? check for "normally open" circuit faults in the door switches

I learned from another site that WD-40 in the door handle, lock cylinder will often clean the sensor that is likely acting up. I tried it on both my 99s and it worked like a charm!!

Hey, You need to remove the panel otherwise u can't reattach the metal sticks that move the locks, but i think it's hard to remove it in a closed posision when u don't brake it

SOURCE: won't open my door when
can you manually unlock the lock and open the door?? Is it more than one door or just one specific door? If its just one door, yourcactuator inside the door may be bad or you have a wire issue. If its all the doors, more than likely you blew a fuse or a relay(id say fuse)
