Question about 2000 Cadillac Escalade
Any tips or tricks to replacing the power steering hose on a 2000 Escalade like getting air out of the lines or anything like that?? Seems like an easy enough job even for a novice like myself.

I'm in the middle of doing mine now. The steering box needs to be pulled out of the truck. Arm will need a puller to be taken off the output shaft of the steering box.

Sounds like it's pumping out a lot of fluid..
There is something else that happens periodically, The fittin\gs on the hi pressure hoses get loose. Happened to me the first week of Summer.
All I had to do was tighten them back up, add some more fluid and drive away.
If this is not the case, the leaking component does need to be replaced.
