Question about 2006 Chevrolet Suburban 2500
While driving my car died loosing all power and power steering. Still had lights and radio but would not start. Mechanic said all fuses were blown. Replaced fuses and it drove great for a week than did it again. The service stabilitrac system comes on just as it dies. It has also been showing service airbag and service tire sensor messages lately.
Then you have a short that is not resolved, when the air bag light goes on it detected a low or open voltage then the light comes on,this is the same as for the TPMS (tire sensor) Same for the stability tract light, what are the fuse that blows open there is you indication of where the short is happening

i would check your ignition system. you would need a meter for this but look for broke or loose connections. if it was a fuel problem i dont think it would just start up after 20 minutes. or you might try your ignition switch. if its shorting or something then ya well it would cut your engine off real quick
