you need to have a mechanic change the head gasket. Possibly the water disappeared because the head gasket was blowing thus allowing the coolant into the cylinders where it was converted to steam which showed up as white smoke.

piston arm could be the big end or the little end. if the engine before was (loud) ticking then when engine is warm it stops then it can be this. when these go it can lock up the engine or kick back. also faulty or bent cam's or broken valves (bent as well)

I would check the EEC relay and the fuel pump relay for power and ground signals first. Both circuits are controlled by the ignition key switch. The fuel pump should be powered for 3 seconds when you turn the key on.

The noise and the kick back you are experiencing is the ABS system kicking in which should not happen unless you completely lock up the brakes.

My hyundai elantra keep ticking wat can i do to stop the noise

A "ticking" noise can be caused by several things. First thing to check is the oil level. When an engine is low on oil, there's a lack of lubrication and you will hear the lifters "ticking". Some cars make a "ticking" noise with the AC on. The ticking is the compressor kicking on and off.

Your coolant all leaked out, or your thermostat locked shut, and the engine seriously overheated. Some makes will not start again until the thermostat has been replaced (the Japanese have always been too cute for their own good, and program such things into the vehicle computer) and the computer reset, and sometimes this simply kills the engine altogether. Proper maintenance is a must!

it could be the brake pads have absorbed moisture and on the first apply they grab. I would replace the pads with a better quality and see what happens. The noise your hear under the hood is the ABS pump working because the wheels are locking up .

1992 side kick

problem here is a ticking to one is a knock or a tap or a thud ect to others so of my experiance with engines if its a ticking that gets louder with the engine getting warmer its got to be the tappets its the only thing that would get louder if it gets louder when accelerating it could be ignition timming causes pinking most other things on engines that cause ticking sounds could be something catching fuel pumps cause a ticking noise but are not normally affected by engine temp yates210456
