SOURCE: air conditioning is blowing hot air, system fully charged compressor is woring

The problem is the venting door. There are vent doors that are used to switch between AC and heat. Some vehicles use a cable that opens and closes the vent doors, other cars use vacuum and some are electric.

Whatever the case may be, if you feel the cold on the tubes, then the AC is likely working, you have to get the vent door working

Your coils could be dirty. Also try cleaning the air filter. I am not familar with your exact model but there will be a filter behind the plastic grill. Most of them pull out from the top or bottom of the case. As for the coils get a can of A/C coil cleaner from your local hardware store and follow the directions. Most of the time these two things will get your unit working again.

SOURCE: kia spectra 2004 AC no power blows hot air

In almost every case, it is most likely low on freon. Most all systems use some type of pressure switch to prevent the unit from freezing up via a low pressure switch. It also acts as a "Loss of Charge" safety. I would think there is a leak. Most of the time it is in the condenser, evap, or compressor. Usually not real cheap to fix but you got to check it out to be sure.

often on the vans with rear air the air dor acuator goed bad and can no longer switch from hot to cold. also the swich itself will often go bad. this can be caused by sticky fingers damaging the inside of the switch. sometimes a good cleaning in warm water will fix a sticky switch

2004 chevy tahoo air conditioning wont work

Well as long as he did not unplug any fuse or repace the blown fuse in the a/c fuses spot then it just maybe just bad luck.Anyway check to make sure the belt is on the compressor, and if thats ok make sure the compressor is coming on.If it is then get it recharged and put some dye in it to help find the leak.

2004 chevy tahoo air conditioning won

first thing is insure that u have the temp control turned all the way to coldest and the a/c button is pushed in (if u have one) if that doesnt work then(i hestitate to say this) have him check the fuses again. if he finds no blown fuses and this includes the ones in the box under the hood, then its off to the repair shop u go for the big rip off.

2004 MALIBU MAXX A/C BLOWS HOT AIR

Could be several things. The fuse relay to the AC compressor could be bad. The system may need to be recharged due to lack of refrigerant the compressor will not work unless it has enough.

2004 chevy venture only gets hot air in front, rear a/c works great...is the front dampers stuck? How do I fix that?

No real solution...needs a blend door actuator, which is VERY expensive because it requires the removal of the dash board. (about 10to 12 hours labor alone)
