Yes, and in case if I need to change the battery on any other car then before replacing the car battery I simply attach a 12 volt trasformer (rated at DC 12volts and 3Amps) or a jumpstart-battery to car-battery-terminals using clips to avoid the loss of car radio code, clock settings or other BSi settings.

Can i change in battery myself

You can, but it is best to keep the power connected as you do it so that the UCE and anti-theft doesn't get reset.

I used a trickle charger on the leads to keep 12 volts in the system. you can also do it with two lengths of wire.

Why would my radio not be on and my preprogrammed stations scattered when I start my car?

loss of power to the memory on radio there are two power wires besure the memory wire goes to a point that has power all the time if they both go to the key sw (on/off) when you lose power you lose memory.

Code p045service engine soon on ford f150 circit a low imput

Check your gas cap...Make sure it's tightened 'til it clicks @ least once. You may need to remove the NEGATIVE battery cable overnight to reset the code (you may lose your radio presets) or go to an auto parts store and ask them to check your codes and CLEAR the codes w/an OBD2 scanner.
