The heater control module is bad, it is fairly easy to replace. Here is a link that explains it. Sparky Answers

My heat in my ford van stop working the blower isn't blowing no more when I tur the fan on high

Sounds as if the blower motor has gone out. Need to check for power and ground supply to the motor. If both are present then the motor is bad. If missing power voltage, check the fuse. If missing ground, check the blower motor resistor.

Front blower stopped working, where is the resister?

A resister would only cause it not to work on 1or2 speeds, Not all of them, The Blower motor is shot (Probally) They don,t last for ever, There is allso a relay for them in the fuse block in the engine compartment, That might be defective,

2003 ford taurus heater fan worked fine last night but won't come on at all today.

I do not understand why people will continue to operate a vehicle when they know there is an obvious problem. They ignore check engine lights until the engine stops running altogether and then are "surprised" when they get stranded in the middle of the expressway in rush hour traffic. Then they blame it on the car!!!

In your case, you have ignored the warning signs of your blower motor failing ("making noise for a couple months"?) and now you are dumfounded as to why your blower motor now does not work at all.....I don't get it....!???

REPLACE YOUR BLOWER MOTOR!

Heater blower motor stopped working still just put it in

The heater resistor has probably gone out. It should be located in the blower housing.

A/C and Heater Problem

Well, you eliminated the resistor,so it probably means the blower motor has shorted out.Either that or something has gotten into the blower wheel and jammed it. If you can bypass the resistor and just put 12 volts into the motor,do it.But don't hold it long,as a direct short can cause a fire without a fuse to blow for safety.
In other words, prepare to buy a new heater blower motor. don-ohio

I have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager. Last week, the rear blower stopped working and the brake lights no longer function. All other lights work. The front blower works just fine. All fuses are...

The rear blower and the brake lights might not be related troble. The rear blower has a ballast resistor that can fail and it's next to the blower motor in the rear heater housing. The blower motors are also known to go bad so wrapping on it with it turned on might( wake it up) and it'll start woring again as a poor connection shaken or the worn motors brushes shaken down where they make connection again. Then you say the rest of the lights work do you mean that the brake light bulbs come on with the hazard swich entergized? or do the rear lights just light yellow turn lights only? I'd check or even replace the brake light buld=bs before I'd do anything else.their are other things that don't work if the fuses were involved and the same goes for the heater rear blower as the front blower uses the same fuse.

Heater won't go off

Hi,

If you're referring to the heater "FAN" running continuously, then its likely to be your blower motor resistor.

The heater blower motor (under the dash) has constant power supplied from the battery, but is controlled by the blower "resistor" - usually mounted on the blower motor assembly. If one or more of the blower resistor coil wires are faulty, the motor will either not work on one of the fan settings, or will constantly run by itself.

The heater blower continues after car is turned off

The blower motor relay is stuck it doesn't hurt them to pull the relays when their on and the one your looking for will be warm or even hot to touch. Next to the underdash fuse box is a relay panel It should be one of those if you have the oweners manual look up the fuses and on those pages it'll show the relays too. the ones under the hood the cover is marked and just pull relays one at a time till the blower stops and replace it with one you can but at the parts store tomorrow. take it with you so they'll sell you the right one. Does everything else turn off with the key or are there other things staying on too? Have you tried turning down too the lowest speed when you turn the car off? sometimes they only stick if there on high. Do turn the speed backup lfter ti of to see if it's turly off.
