What does it do cold and hot. engine.?>
all things good and bad. this tells the tech, what it can be.
does it stall,
does i near stall (way lower than 800 rpm hot.
i love that guessing here, so bad that. Unseen un tested , guessing.
all engines idle high cold, started, ALL do.
but how high is high 1500 or 4000rpm.????
high needs a matching number to have meaning at all.
no power on driving, my guess is engine reaches 180F+ coolant temps ok, (must)
and has no power on a fully hot engine, am i guessing correct>?
low power causes, (there are 50 causes besides melted cat)
Is the CEL light on key on, then off running engine (yes, yes)
that means the ECU has bad sensors, and is trying hard to tell you what they are, so let it. (ask how)
there are simple tests. do you wish to GUE$$ or TEST.

Check the overdrive accumulator cover on the transmission for any leaks. This can cause some rough idle situations and minor slipping but if caught early enough isn't bad to fix.

The winter drive button gears the transmission down so that it doesn’t spin when you take off from a dead stop in the snow and ice. It only activates by pressing and holding it when at a stop and then accelerating.
Power is for when you are hauling heavy loads. It holds a higher rpm before shifting to next gear giving you best hauling performance.
