The engine fan is activated by coolant temperature, and it is normal for it to turn on when the coolant temperature increases. Be certain that your coolant level is correct, and expect it to engage from time to time, especially in warmer weather.

Testimonial: "i have booked a auto diagnostics to carry out engine tuning to the car peugeot 308 1.6vti, will this help the car? also i think that there is a slight problem with the heating as the hot air from the heater oonly blows from the bottom setting pointing towards your feet/floor and only warm in the middle and the top vents near the windscreen, also the car is sluggish driving in 2nd gear and third?any help with this please??"

It could be air that is trapped in water line. Remove air from heater matrix line (you can find the bleeder valve in engine bay where the pipe goes in passenger compartment). Check that the water is circulating from engine to radiator and thermostat is working properly and make sure that there is sufficient coolant in the water tank.

I have a T reg Peugeot 106, the temperature light keeps coming on even thou I've topped the oil up. Any info plz

Topping up the oil has very little bearing on engines overheating.

You need to remove the radiator cap and top up the cooling system with anti-freeze and water mixed to specifications. Note that I mention RADIATOR CAP and not the expansion reservoir cap. Remove the radiator cap with the engine COLD. Once you have filled the radiator, you need to run the engine until it gets to full operating temperature. Some of the water will overflow out until the thermostat opens, then the water level will rise and fall. When it has settled, bubbles have stopped, turn the engine off, top up one last time. Replace the radiator cap and then top up the reservoir tank.

There are videos online, Google 'burping cooling system', and look at the images tab. Here you go.

Peugeot 207 fan keeps coming on

Check the thermostat. It monitors the temperature of the coolant and turns the fan on to cool the engine when it detects the temperature is too high. When it goes faulty it can cause this issue of the fan being on all the time. (Better that it fails on than fails off and overheats the engine).

Auxiliary fan not kicking on (it has 2 fans, the driver's side cooling fan and the passenger side fan that runs intermittently that comes on when a/c or when heat is set to defrost setting stopped com

It won't cause any overheating, that fan is only suppose to come on when the a/c is on. Since it's cold, it's not going to come on because the engine has at least 2 sensors that tell the temp and it can see it's not needed. Now, if you turn it on during the summer and it doesn't come on and your a/c doesn't work, you may have blown the relay or your a/c may be low/out.

SOUND LIKE ENGINE OVERHEATING,CHECK COOLANT LEVEL MAKE SURE YOUR RADIATOR FULL OF ANTIFREEZE.IF YOUR COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG IS EMPTY COOLANT LEVEL IS LOW.NEED ADD MORE COOLANT TO OVERFLOW UNTIL COOLANT STAY AT FULL COLD MARK. DONT OVER FILL COOLANT OVER FLOW JUG.IF COOLANT OKAY ENGINE OVERHEATING REPLACE THERMOSTAT.MAKE SURE ENGINE COOLING FAN IS WORKING IF YOU COME TO A STOP CAR SITS FOR A LITTLE WHILE START OVERHEATING THE COOLING FAN NOT TURNING ON , BECAUSE COOLANT FAN FUSE BLOWED OR YOU HAVE BAD RELAY,THE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR FAULTY.IF YOU HAVE THE CLUTCH TYPE COOLING FAN, MAKE SURE WHEN TURNING CLUTCH FAN WITH HAND COOLING FAN SHOULD HAVE RESISTANCE WHEN HOT.IF CLUTCH FAN FEEL WOBBLY AND LOOSE REPLACE IT.TAKE VECHICLE TO AUTO ZONE OR ADVANCE AUTO PARTS OR ANY AUTO PARTS STORES THEY WILL CODE SCAN CAR FREE AND GIVE YOU THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TROUBLE CODE TO SEE WHAT CAUSING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO TURN ON.

The insider front fan of my Peugeot 307 is keep working after I switch off the car!!! My battery is not new, could this be the reason? and if not, what is the reason for that, and how to solve it?

If your engine is hot, the fan will keep running until the engine is down to the right temperature. It is normal, not a problem.

If your engine keeps getting too hot too often, the cooling system needs checking.

Can a fuse effect the heat coming out or will it effect the heater from working,i have flow thru the heater core but wont get warm .blower works great .anything else i can check ,also brand new thermostat

Make sure there is no air trapped in the heater core. With the radiator cap removed run the vehicle at idle until it reaches full operating temp while keeping an eye on the coolant level in the radiator and topping off as necessary. When the thermostat opens rev the engine a couple times. Short snaps work the best. Do this from the drivers seat while the heat is set to full hot, the mode is set to vent, and the blower speed is set to low or the next setting higher than low. If you feel short bursts of hot air there is restricted flow or air in the heater core. Continuing trying the short burst for about 5 minutes (a couple short bursts and than wait and then a couple more). If it doesn't stay hot its restricted.

I think the blend doors and mode doors are vacuum operated on that one. Make sure you can hear a noticeable difference in the sound of the air as you switch from full cold to full hot. If you don't than the blend door, blend door actuator, or the heat selector switch could be bad.

If you do hear a noticeable difference than I would suspect a plugged heater core. Especially if the first part above did not work and the coolant is muddy or nasty looking. You can try back flushing the heater core by removing the heater hoses from the heater core. Then using a garden hose spray water into one side of the heater core tube until clear water comes out. Then do the some thing on the other heater core tube. This may take several tries but you should start to notice an increase in heat. top off with straight coolant (not mixed 50/50 with water) to compensate for the water in the heater core.

Peugeot Partner electrical problem

Take a voltmeter.
remove the connection pin of alternator and check the voltage while engine runs. If in idle running its below 12 volts then there is a short circuit within alternator coil. Replace your alternator.
May be my suggestion can help you.
