If dog ate the old ones, trim away old remaining material and gently pry the panel away from the door's edge. You should be able to see the shaft of the plastic retention clips which are just push-fit into door.

Testimonial: "First the cover panel has to be removed and the two bolts removed then just pry the panel off. Reverse process to re-install."

2004 buick rainier. Back hatch has NO function. Locked and won't unlock, wiper and defroster not working. Checked all fuses, tried a reset, nothing. Any idea what it might be?

Due the constant bending of the wire harness buddle to the rear hatch when it opened and closed in many cases the wires fail from metal fatigue. What you need to do to get the rear open is remove the trim panel from the inside and manually trip the latch and then perform wiring diagnostics to the various powered components of the rear hatch to locate the broken wire(s).

How do I get to the factory amp?

It depends on which model of 2004 Buick Ranier you are talking about and which sound system it is equipped with. If it is equipped with a separate amplifier, it will be located behind the right lower body side panel for the short wheel base (Body Type VIN 3). Or it will be located behind the left rear body side panel for the long wheel base (Body Type VIN 6).

How do I remove the drivers side door panel on a 2006 Buick Rainier?

First of all look around the door handle for screws, remove any that you see there. then the door panel is held in place with a number of clips that attach to the inside of the panel and then into holes in the frame. Use a stiff blade putty knife to gently work your way around the door and remove the panel. If you break a clip or two, I usually do, not to worry as they are available at any auto parts store.

Instructions on how to remove a rear door panel

Firstly, if you don't know how...I doubt you can remove it anyway. Take it to your local car stereo installation shop and ask them NICELY to take it off - explain what the problem is (lemme guess the window/lock doesn't work).
Good Luck
