Don't worry about it. The clock has a very minimal draw on your battery and won't drain it unless you store it for years.

SOURCE: MY 2003 MITSUBISHI LANCER ES WON'T START

You need to tackle this logically. First of all the car has to have fuel and spark to ignite the fuel. You need to establish whether these are present or not. Then go along apporopriate route, fuel or spark.Secondly the spark has got to occur at the right time .There are simple checks you can do to find out if this happening.
To confirm sparks Remove one plug. recoonect lead , hold it in contact with the chassis and turn the engine, you should see spark jump across the plug gap. Dont hold lead with bear hands as it carries high voltage, use an insulated material to hold it in contact with chassis.
similarly you can disconnect fuel input to carbureter and turn engine to see petrol coming out.
Once these two facts are confirmed then it is timing of sparks that remains.
Hope this helps you to go in the right direction.

SOURCE: I have no heat in my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer. When

The cable that pulls the cool/heat switch on the a/c gets weak and it doesnt allow the dial to switch over to heat. You can see that cable and the way its supposed to work on the right side of the gas pedal over it. I usually just use my foot to push that switch over to heat and reach with and pull on it with my right hand to cool.

A loose clamp or crack on the air passage way will cause this problem.

Why would srs light stay on in my mitsubishi lancer 2003 model

A common reason is that the clock spring assembly in the steering wheel has failed. Next reason is the SRS computer has a problem.

My 2003 lancers airbag has been deployed. I have a new ecu, clock and airbag. what is the procedure for reinstalment?

It is pretty straight forward remove the old bags take note of anything removed and how it sets. line up the clock spring install the new air bags and then the ECU. If you install the ecu without the bags and turn the ignition on you will set the SRS light off again and need to get it reset so avoid doing so.

2003 lancer o-z rally SRS light stays on and horn doesn't work..is it hte clockspring that needs replaced? is there a way to test the clockspring without removing it?

If you can locate the horn wires from the column and connect those two together momentary and the horn blows, then your clock spring is bad. Given the two symptoms your dealing with that's what it sounds like. There should be power going to the clock spring if you have a multimeter. Please be sure to locate the horn wires. Do not randomly probe wires as you could inadvertently set off the air bag.
