I would replace the low pressure AC compressor cycling switch, it may be sticking, it is a fairly common problem. The switch is located in the low side of the AC system hoses or accumulator.

96 Blazer A/C WILL NOT BLOW ANY AIR HOT OR COLD

BEFORE YOU DO ANY HARD WORK TURN ON YOUR A/C AND BLOWER AND TAP THE BACK OF THE BLOWER MOTOR WITH A SMALL HAMMER IN A COMPLETE CIRCLE. SOUNDS LIKE YOU JUST HAVE SOME STICKING BRUSHES IN THE BLOWER MOTOR.

Heater keeps blowing hot air for awhile then it blows cold. replaced thermostat and did not fix the problem. was suggested to change heat sensor. need to know where it is located.

if youre driving down the road with decent heat and all of a sudden it gets cooler, and the engine temperature remains normal, i would strongly suggest flushing out the heater core at the firewall in engine compartment, very common problem due to the dex-cool antefreeze used be GM.
