A partially plugged exhaust will cause it to overheat and lose power.
When it stalls, do you still have spark?
An ignition coil may fail hot, look for a crack in the plastic.

Did they figure out if you are loosing fuel or spark when it fails to start up ? You would need to know which to proceed.

Stalling

The CDI box could be bad or the coil could be breaking down so maybe a new coil would fix you up they only run around 20$ cdi box on the other hand can cost an easy 100$ or better you might also try changing the oil but make sure to buy kinda thick oil cause it's cold out

Yamaha Grizzly 350. After riding for twenty or so

These quads have a thermostat-controlled radiator fan, which won't turn on until the engine is hot. Perfectly normal. Also, if the fan comes on, make sure you use the kill switch to turn the quad off, rather than just turning the key. This allows the engine to cool properly and will save your engine gaskets and other parts. It could take quite a while to cool down...my 2009 Grizzly sure does.

over heating, check the cooling system and make sure the coolant is filled up, if it is indeed liquid cooled..

Car is stalling while driving. It also seems to

Have your fuel injectors checked !!.When they start going bad one or more will short out ,then the quad driver in the computer which controls injector pulse will shut down until it cools off a little. Then you can start your car .:)
