Question about Hyosung GV 125 Aquila Motorcycles

1 Answer

Hi, I dropped my bike from a standing position and now it won't start? Its just not firing when I start the electric start. Is it anything to do with the spark plugs and if so...where do I find them?? Thanks

Check spark plug for correct press fit.Check at the engine grooved cylinder end. It may be in the top or side ways depending on the manufacturer. It looks mostly wire related connecting problem.

I am a Harley guy, but your bike might have a BAC sensor, it is made to shut the fuel off if you tip the bike. Simple test, is to get to the air breather, crack the throttle, use a spray bottle spray so gas in the breather inlet. Then try to start it, if if starts and runs just a bit and dies, it means you are not getting fuel and the is a sensor somewhere.
I've been told that if you disconnect the battery for 30 min. then reconnect, it coould reset it.
I hope this at least gives you a direction.

2008 Hyosung GT650S I think my side stand relay is causing my bike not to start. The Stator was replaced recently and the battery seems to be holding a charge fine. Sometimes the bike just won't...

What I would suggest then is to bridge the side stand switch. If the switch stays open circuit, it will never start but if you bridge the wires before the switch then the bike should start and have now solved the problem for the interim or you if it does not start you know you have to look elsewhere.

Please get back if you require anything else or give favorable feedback.

Thank you

Bike won`t start.

Your Crank Position Sensor, or Cam Position Sensor is likely to be the problem. If there is no signal from crank position sensor, bike will not fire the coil. ECM has no referance to position of motor. Making timing imposible.
