Most DVD player can't read open session discs, meaning when you burn your DVD movie there's an option there that when your disc is not full you can still add files on it, it's open session, in your case if you want to play it on dvd player you must select the finalize the disc to close the session and you can play it in any dvd player you want.

You need to play these files on VLC or in Media Player Classic. You can play almost any media file through them.
If you don't have any then you can download VLC media player from the following links:
for windows os zip file 16mb: http://videolan.cdn.cacheboy.net/vlc/0.9.9/win32/vlc-0.9.9-win32.exe
windows 26mb:http://www.gtlib.gatech.edu/pub/videolan/vlc/0.9.9/win32/vlc-0.9.9-win32.zip

& for mac 19mb: http://mirror.leaseweb.com/pub/software/videolan/vlc/0.9.9a/macosx/vlc-0.9.9a-intel.dmg

And if you want media player classic here is a link to download it: http://mirror01.x264.nl/x264/mpc2kxp6490.zip (212mb)

If these players cant play your files then might not have given enough time to download your torrent or must have downloaded corrupt file.

There are lots of solutions to add subtitle to a movie. You can use VLC, HandBrake, or other programs to do that. Just follow below steps to add subtitle to a movie. 1. Fire up Handbrake on your computer and then click on the "Source" button to add the video that you want to add subtitle.
2. Click on the "Subtitles" tab in the interface to import your downloaded subtitle file.
3. After that, you can choose the output format from the right side screen. Click on the "Browse" button in the interface to set a target folder for the encoded video file.
4. When you complete all settings, you can hit on the green "Start" button to begin the encoding process. After a while, the video with subtitles will be available in the folder that you have just set.

Hello sanjeev_vada,

This procedure is from the windows media player help file.I hope it's useful:
-------------------------
*To play content at variable speeds*

You can change the speed at which content plays in the Player. For example, you can slow down the playback speed if you are taking notes while watching a training video, or you can speed up the slow sections of a presentation.

•Begin playing a file.

•Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, point to Enhancements, and then click Play Speed Settings.

•Move the Play Speed slider to the speed at which you want to play the content, or click the Slow, Normal, or Fast link.

•To select speeds between the labeled play speeds, in the Enhancements pane, clear the Snap slider to common speeds check box.

•To hide the settings, click the Close button in the Enhancements pane.
-------------------------

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,
