20 Most Recent Lenovo ThinkPad T43 Notebook PC Questions & Answers

Traditionally with ThinkPads:

1. The BIOS password can be reset with the CMOS.
2. The Supervisor password cannot.
3. The HD password cannot.

If it's the harddrive that's locked you will have to replace that. If it's the Supervisor password you need to replace the system board which kind of defeats your purpose.

Click Here to get the proper driver without a cd, you must know your operating system when going here in order to get the proper driver selection. I do although recommend the pcl 5 over the pcl6 as it has way less bugs... Hope this helps and if so please mark as FixYa!!

There is no *LEGAL* way to remove that software.

You clicked "I agree" to allow that software to be installed.

If you have a "bootleg" version of Microsoft Windows, follow the hyperlinks offered by WGA to "get genuine Windows", i.e., pay some money to get a valid product-key for Windows.

Or, telephone Lenovo, and order a set of "System Recovery" CD disks. If your computer was originally shipped with Windows XP installed, those disks will re-install a *VALID* copy of Windows XP.

Sounds as if the sound card drivers are corrupt or not installed, here is the site for the audio drivers:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-58597.html

Go to the audio section and you can download the driver for windows xp, if you need drivers for something other then XP then the page will let you know what to do.

Depends on the computer you are using.

If the computer you are using is low on resources, as the Pentium M in title, then one of the 'fastest' ptp fileshare software is Utorrent, as it needs little RAM and also does not need a big CPU.

If instead you have a powerful computer with 2GB RAM and pentium duo, or more, then I recommend Azureus-Vuze, that is one of the most complete torrent software.

Download - µTorrent

Azureus, now called Vuze : Bittorrent Client
