your problem may be ur power adapter has gone out... try replace by checking your input volts and ampere as well as output volts and ampere. you can use compatible also. if same problem occurs it might be the power supply area problem inside the printer

You can make any printer with a usb port wireless by adding a usb to wireless print server. Linksys makes them. Keep in mind that typically over this type of connection you will not be able to utilize scanning functions if it has them.

When you restart your PC does the printing continue from where it had abruptly stopped printing or does the printer print a fresh copy .
In any case the clean the Print Cartridge Carry Assembly Mount Rod and try freeing up more space on your PC hard Disk for spooling the print data

it seems that wireless is not supported, and you must use a USB cable. Check that the connectors are the correct ones; printer accepts a type B ('house') male connector (plug)
If uncertain consult Lexmark support, or the manual for this printer. Information (including probably a manual) can quickly be obtained from the webpage
All Products Printers MultiFunction Lexmark X2650 Lexmark

The image shows two connectors (which may be on either end of a single cable, and what I think you need) lower is type B (printer end) , upper is type A (computer end, most commonly). Available in various lengths, you need USB 2.0 spec.

That is the way that some color printers are designed. Just replace the color that is missing and do a deep cleaning of the ink jets and that should fix the problem.

Try to re-seat your cartridges into the printer. If the error continues, try to do the Alignment function using the printer software on your computer.
  1. On your computer, go to Start menu.
  2. Go to Programs.
  3. Go to Lexmark 2600 Series folder.
  4. Select Lexmark Solution Center.

From the Maintenance tab, select Align Cartridges. Your printer will then print a page that will help align the cartridges.

To scan documents for editing and saving as PDF file, you will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software on your computer. The Lexmark scan software (no downloadable version) is only available on the installation disc that came with your printer. If you lost the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

To install the OCR scan software from the printer installation CD:

  1. Insert CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the installation screen open, click Cancel.
  2. Double-click on My Computer / Computer.
  3. Right-click on Lexmark XXXX CD and select Open.
  4. Double-click on OCR.
  5. Double-click on Setup.exe to install the OCR software. Your operating system will then determine the language in which it is installed.

Try to open the printer cover and remove all the cartridges. Then close the cover. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds. When the printer turns back on, re-insert the cartridges and check the problem persists.

Leading cause of paper jams is debris / foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please try this approach to fix the problem:

  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
  3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also carefully turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
  4. If feeder is clear, place the printer on the table. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions in the paper path.
  6. Close the printer cover.
  7. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds.
  8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Please note that when inserting a refilled cartridge or when a cartridge is refilled, it can no longer register its ink level.

If you're using Windows, it could be a problem with your Print Spooler and your print jobs are getting stuck. Please follow the steps below to fix the issue:

1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)

2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.

3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)

4. Double click the printer icon in the lower-right corner of your taskbar to examine your print job queue and browse to View -> Refresh.

Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed. If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:

1. Make sure the printer is on.

2. Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.

Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to the center.

3. Remove the color cartridge from the carrier.

4. Close the printer cover.

5. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

6. When the printer turns on, reinsert the color cartridge.

7. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.

8. If the error continues to appear, replace the cartridge with a new cartridge or insert a different known working color cartridge to determine if it's a faulty cartridge issue.

If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
