Often with battery powered watches the word "Quartz" will be written on the dial. In the abscent of that you can look at the mechanism inside (typically by removing the case back).
Alternately (this may not be an absolute confirmation) with the winder in neutral position i.e. pressed all the way in, turn the crown (winding button) and if it spins freely it's probably quartz. Because unless it's broken most mechanical watches click as the watch is wound up (except some automatics which cant be crown wound).
Plus if it's working and left unworn for a few days yet continues to run it's probably quartz. Please rate this solution.
Hi, Dan, I have 2 Dunhill ighters that work but they leak butane. Making them unfit for use. I would like to have them repaired/rebuilt. I believe they are 1960-70's vintage so, the lack of parts will definately be an issue here. Please advise. Thanks Glenn email@example.com
Other than contacting Versa directly and asking them where the nearest stockist of a replacement bracelet is, to your location, then the only other option is to use a specialist sourcer, such as myself.
I have a contact in Guangzhou, China who can get pretty much anything.
If you would like me to source one for you, then please EMAIL ME firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll get some prices & images together for you
