Hello! here is a PDF combination owners/installation guide...The other black wire you are concerned with is, I believe, the ground wire for the parking brake...Follow the installation guide...Guru..Saailer

Hello
Just make a factory reset to this set and check.
[1] Turn the Ignitian swich OFF
[2] Press the RESET with a pen tip or other pointed instrument [not too sharper]
The reset button [hole] can be located top left side of the main control button, and above the [EQ] button.
OK.

ALL I KEEP HEARING IS UNPLUG FOR 5MIN AND RECONNECT AND IF THAT DOESNT WORK TRY THE RESET BUTTON ON THE FRONT OF THE UNIT,YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE TIP OF EATHER A PEN OR PENCIL AND IF THAT DOESNT WORK THEN UNFORTUNATLY IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY NEED REPAIRING.I WOULD SEE HOW MUCK AND SEE IF ITS WORTH IT.GOOD LUCK!

I agree that the issue may be a fuse. The should be two or three of them to check. The first one will be in your fuse box panel in the interior of your truck, label should be RDO (depending on your model of truck). The other one/two will be on the back of the unit/along the red (maybe yellow) constant power lead. To check a fuse, hold it up to the light and see if the filament is still intact. If it is broken the fuse is bad. If this helps please accept the solution, and thank you for choosing fixya.com

not without taking the deck apart. try disconnecting power to the radio overnight. sometimes pressing the reset switch doesn't always completely clear the memory.

the bulbs inside screen are doing out send in to have replaced

easiest way I know of solving this is get a wiring harness for the make and model of vehicle from the auto store. (walmart also sells the harness located by the automotive radios ) connect the radio harness to the wiring harness per the instructions and you should be good to go.

I have the same problem, it seems that the Integrated circut that controls the CD stoped working.
You'll need to go to a repair shop and replace it.

actually it is due to faulty disk or dirty lens sometimes , when the lens is dirty it keeps on trying to read the data from cd or dvd and it just cant stop that infact stuck in it , or the other reason is faulty loading gear , in either case u have to physically dis assemble the player , remove the top cover some 4 or 6 screws are there in place open the top cover see the cd /or dvd and remove it physically do not force anything hard when removing the media and then if u can see the lens of ur player just clean it with a soft cloth with ur fingers in cicular motions very gently and u will see that it will play dvd /cd fine , the other thing if the loading gear is faulty or broken then u can ask me more on this

Pls rate me WELL !
