On any SHARP scientific calculator the combination button is always above the 5 (except the financial calculator). To get a combination type in the n value (the total number of items) press 2nd F and the 5 button and then type in the number of selected items and press =.

The calculator is non programmable but if you use the up arrow key in a mode you can see previous calculations in the memory

Yes look you can't enter the base in calculators it's default 10 so use:

log x base y = log x / log y

log (x*y) = log x + log y

log (x/y) = log x - log y

so instead of log 8 base 2 input log 8 / log 2 it's easy
