The FF error code indicates that the freezer fan motor is defective. You can also get this code if ice is preventing the fan from turning. -For LG French Door refrigerators, check the gaskets around the doors for damage or possibly the gasket is coming off the fridge door

I am sorry without the model number we would not be able to give proper information as Samsung uses a few systems.

Some ice makers will take up to hours to produce the first time, but without the refrigerator model number and more of the story, giving you the correct information is difficult.

Could be one of two things.
Electronic problem with the main board.
Most likely it's the "gateway" that's gone bad.
It's a little motor inside with some gears, with a little heater to prevent it from freezing stuck.
Maybe it's just to much ice? That prevent it from opening.

Plastic gear in the drive assembly sound stripped not allowing the maker to set the poppers at the right position to make ice

My Frigidaire also got the dreaded E-F error code and stopped cooling. Technician over the phone told me to unplug it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in to see if the control board would reset itself. Did that with no luck. Unplugged the refrigerator last night while I tranferred my food to a spare fridge in the garage. Plugged the fridge back in this morning (9hrs later) and it works fine with no error codes. It looks like the control board has reset itself but how long it takes...I dont know. 10.. maybe 15 minutes? Well more than 5 at least. Guy over the phone told me that you can buy DRY ICE at a local grocery store and put it some in your freezer and a little bit in the frigdge to keep the food cold for a day. I had a spare fridge but I thought that was a good tip for anyone that needs to buy time for a tech to come repair the fridge. I had just bought $300 in groceries the night before so that tip would have come in handy if I did not have the spare fridge. I have no idea what the EF error was for but it's been 5 hours since I plugged my fridge back in and it's running fine so I'll cross my fingers. Got around to cleaning the fridge and plugging in a surge protector too. Hope this post helps someone out there.

bad door seal or heavy usage in a humid environment.
My sisters problem was a drawer causing the door not to shut completely. But it looked shut and sealed
