There are a few things thatcan cause you to lose wireless connection with your wireless router.1. Weak signal strength, check the signal strength on your wireless card. If it is weak move thewireless router away from brick or concrete walls and if possible locatethe wireless router higher up.2. Have you secured yourwireless router from people near your from unauthorized access? i.e. change thedefault password, setup encryption use WPA2 or WPA, change the default SSID,and turn off SSID broadcast, and for added protection, enable MAC addressfiltering which allows only the MAC address/es of your wireless card/s toconnect to your wireless router.3. You could be gettinginterference from electrical sources such as air conditioners, arc welders, washing machines etc. If so, the power supply to the wireless routers andcomputers etc should be connected to a surge protection power board, betterstill connect your computer equipment to an UPS (Uninterrupted PowerSupply). 4. Check the channels ofthe wireless routers and access points in your area and change the broadcastchannel on your wireless router to an unused channel or one that is currentlyused but has the weakest signal strength. This will minimize interferencewith your wireless router from other wireless routers and accesspoints in your area.

You are not the only person having problems with the Belkin N750 DB Wireless Dual Band Router. Are you using the correct cables? One more thing you can check, does it have a reset button on the bottom or the side? Try those two things.

Per chance have you looked on YouTube for a video on how to hook up this particular router: Generally they have a video for just about anything imaginable. Good luck!

Any modem should work; the modem is the device that provides a signal to and from the router. I have never run into any compatibility issues for a signal TX/RX device.

Reset the Belkin to default settings and reconfigure the SSID and the Security Key. You can find a User/Setup Manual here: http://www.belkin.com/networking/manual/MAN_F9K1103_8820-00778_RevA01_N750.pdf

You didn't supply the OS you are using, it may be a software compatibility issue. Look for download for your OS. Try Belkin Support : http://www.belkin.com/us/support-product?rnId=6054

Some people turn everything off at night and then when they turn things back on everything starts powering up. If you do this, it may be the problem because you have the modem and the router starting up at the same time. If the router finishes before the modem then it will drop.

Just make sure that you turn your wireless router on after the modem had booted up. This problem also happens when you have a power outage in the house and they both boot up at the same time.

When ever you are experiencing drops, just go unplug the wireless router then plug it back after about 30 seconds.

No drivers are required since routers are not installed but are administered. No disc required, but comes with one if you elect to use.

Connect the ISP modem to main up-link port in router. Then connect PC to any other port. Done!

Wireless is a different setup.

BTW I have same model.

Use web interface 192.168.2.1

I noticed some changes as well. Go to Media Server (you should see attached USB drive there) > Twonky. Download and install. Verify Email. Check Spam folder.

Login Twonky > My Library > Look for you router ID and Beam.

I'm still not to familiar with the new setup, but Good Luck as well.

I would recommend unplugging your router and modem, then plugging your modem in and waiting for it to establish then plugging in your router and that should solve the problem. Your router should have the ability to upgrade the firmware by going to its web interface. To find the address go to a command prompt and type ipconfig and find your default gateway. Type that series of numbers into the address bar of your web browser and u should be able to update it from there.
