Need a manual
I went on line to Euro-Pro Corporation and clicked on their web site. You can request a manual by putting in the model number EP108h. I was able to download the user's manual. Apparently this is a discontinued processor but at least you use it correctly now.

First, and I apologize if this questions makes you feel like I am speaking down to you or implying you are stupid, I am not. but have you tried another known good electricl device in that outlet.

Food processor model KP80B
If it does not start at all, then it is likely one part that had not been mounted properly.
If the blender or the tool used is not mounted in the proper way the processor will not start.
Remove the tool and mount it back in place, possibly following the instructions if you have them.
If still no luck and you are sure the processor is mounted in the right way, then check if the power cord has a built in fuse, and test the unit on a different socket.
When the unit does not start it is usually because of assemblage problems.
