The eMachines E725 has a built in switch to toggle the touchpad on or off by the touch of a button. Look at the button to the left of the main power switch. You'll notice the icon looks like a hand touching a rectangle - or touchpad. if this button is lit up, the touchpad is turned off. simply press the button to toggle the touchpad back on. The light on the button should now be off.
It's that simple.

Sorry to say, officially Windows XP is no longer available for download as a trial and moreover, it can not be bought from Microsoft's official store. It is so, just because currently Microsoft has ended it's support partially to Windows XP (SP1 & SP2) and Vista (SP1) and will fully end it's support in the Mid of 2014.

To know more, visit, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/end-support.

If still you are willing to have Windows XP, you have to download it online (which will, of course, be illegal) from torrent sites or something like that.

But if you love to buy a copy online, you should visit: http://erclk.about.com/?zi=5/2rbm

Before you proceed, you may like to read this article: Where can I download windows XP?.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay.

I think you have either a heat problem, heat damage to the GPU or a power problem.

Tell me if i am wrong, but is that french ? And i have not seen a SiS chipset of any kind for the last 9 years, i thought they died about that long ago.
Some manufacturer chipsets were not able to be updated, only by the OEM manufacturer and as such the drivers could not be updated. ( A prime example is the Ferrari 3200 with Ati 128mb gpu only had 1 driver which was created by Acer, tried to update via AMD, but did not recognise the card. The unit is now whats known as "end of service life" and not supported by Acer. As an experiment, have you tried the official drivers from Acer to see if they work ?

i am not sure what you are trying to ask
so please forgive my stab in the dark

i am assuming that you are trying to install software by entering a product key. this maybe a serial number for the software like windows or some application.

the product key on the bottom of the acer, may not have anything to do with the product key you need to install the software.

that product key may be on the installing dvd, or you may have to ask your dealer for the serial number.

Dear you need to check 2 things.

1. Replace the Ram (replace the ram and then check if it gives error or not)

2. Update your Windows / graphic drivers to the latest one.. you also need to update Direct x .

Goodluck

This isn't a solution as of yet but if you have updated everything and it runs fine for 14/17 minutes it could be that the card is overheating. I have run into this several times with gamers. The load on the card causes it to heat up more when playing games. Check and make sure all vents and the fan are clean for one. Over time they will clog and not cool your CPU and Video Card.
In other cases the video card is just not up to it. It will play for a time, overheat and then distort or stop working at all. Is that card adequate for the games you play?
One gaming laptop I worked on overheated and soon the graphics card would not work at all. Had to replace the motherboard.
First make sure it's not overheating, Second, check compatibility of your hardware to your game. Third, double check your drivers, completely uninstall then reinstall.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck
