Have you tried talking with the neighbors?
You could get a local welder to tack something to the bottom of that gate so it won't have room for them to crawl under, if that will not impede its swing. Should be quick and simple, for the right person.
There is a product sold at pet stores that prevents dogs from licking their wounds and so forth, that could be sprayed in areas where they dig or intrude into your property. It is apparantly offensive to dogs. The one we use has rosemary in it. (Maybe you could get a big bag of rosemary and boil it and spray it with a pump sprayer along your property line.)
It's a little unorthodox, but when I used to live in the country, I would mark my territory by going out in the evening and peeing around the edges of the yard, on protruding bushes and so forth. We had no fences at all. And while this may seem like stooping to their level, it sends an unmistakable message to the other dogs that your yard is not their territory. They may still argue the point, but if you are consistent they will get the message.
Seems like the barbed wire might be a cause of future conflict, in the event that someone or some pet were injured.
You might also google "dog territory" and read a bit. You have to communicate to them to get them to stop. There's a story about a guy whose feet were tender from walking on the hot sand and sharp rocks, and had an idea to cover the whole earth with leather.
Good luck.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

boot windows in safe mood and change your display settings to where they should be and reboot back in normal mode

You can use a USB number keypad. This will give you the normal keyboard and a separate number keypad

Your Acer can accept up to 2GB (2 x 1GB) RAM chips.

PC2700 DDR333 SODIMM

Be careful with the static discharges that may occur. Be sure to be grounded properly.

Good luck

if you have a usb keyboard and mouse this isn't too difficult to troubleshoot, plug them in, boot the computer and you can manipulate the pc like normal. then go to control panel>system>device manager, and check and see if there is a conflict with the drivers, and you can visit the acer website and download the proper ones.

Have you tried to go online to the windows update? Go there and choose custom install after the scan, then click on the optional upgrades and look for a graphics upgrade and choose install, windows will download and install the new driver....actually, while you are in there let windows get all the hardware updates that are available.

My idea is bad & corrupted Hard Disk Partition.
Normal partition is FAT32 or NTFS, once this is corrupted you cannot go to windows or even on safe mode, unless you are going to reformat again your windows system to a new one.

Here is what you do, reformat your Windows System in a new one by using its Recovery Disc or Bootable Disc.

Good luck!

If i am helpful please rate me.
Thank you.

Property fencing laws are handled by the your local council. The council has laws governing the heights and material type to be errected.
I would suggest you contact your local council for advise and course of action.

Look for screws underneath the cd drive. After you remove them it should just slide out.

Check your ram. Try using only ram and alternate them and see if either one makes a difference . If you have a bad ram you should be able to decipher which one is bad this way. Also if both rams are the same eg 512 try using 2 different sizes in the slots.
REMEMBER TO UNHOOK THE ADAPTER AND REMOVE BATTERY FIRST. WHEN YOU REPLACE RAM YOU CAN REATTACH BOTH TO TRY TO SEE IF IT WILL OPERATE UNDER INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ABOVE.

Hi, I'm a laptop technician and if the screen is blank as in there is nothing showing on the screen at all (even when the laptop first starts up), but the laptop sounds like it is starting normally then the backlight or invertor for the laptop screen has probably failed. This is very common.

The easy way to check this is to plug the laptop into a normal PC monitor (if you can) via the monitor out port on the laptop - you may have to press Ctrl + F5 to get a display on the PC screen. If you can get the laptop to show an image on the PC screen then the main laptop itself is fine, and the problem is almost certainly a failed invertor or backlight.

Assuming you *could* see an image on the PC screen, you should then press Ctrl + F5 so that you *can't* see an image on the PC screen any more (this is very important). Next unplug the laptop from the PC monitor (if you did the above) and look VERY closely at the laptop screen. You will hopefully *just* make out a very, very feint and very dark image on the laptop screen. Bear in mind that you may need to re-boot the laptop to get a moving image that you can detect (like the Windows boot up screen for example). If you *can* see a very, very dark and feint image on the screen then the backlight has failed. If the screen is plain bright white or there is no image then the invertor has gone.

The invertor (or inverter as it is sometimes spelt) is a smaller circuit board that sits in the screen housing, the backlight is a very thin "flourescent" kind of tube light that is built into the screen itself. The invertor can be removed and replaced pretty easily by most competent people without much trouble (takes maybe 30-45 minutes to do). The backlight on the other hand is very hard to remove without damaging the screen itself and should only be attempted by a specialist laptop repair company.

Both the invertor and backlight parts are specific to the screen so you must get exactly the same to replace the faulty one with. Online auctions are a good place to get s/hand or new spares, just tap in the *exact* part number or laptop model number and you will usually find someone who has the bit you need.

I hope this helps.

this is more than likely a virus or trojan using up system resources causing freeze ups, i doubt its a hardware problem, you need to install or run you anti virus programme

could it be that your power saving is set to be too aggressive? From the control panel you should be able to check the power properties, and change the settings if that is what is causing the problem. So, for example, if the system were set to hibernate is 5 minutes, you could increase that to 20 min - or whatever is most comfortable for you.

If the power properties are not the problem, it could be the battery, the power cable, or some other serious system issue. I would certainly get it fixed while you can still return the machine - and it might be a sign that that particular machine might not be for you.
