Can anyone instruct me how to synchronize my iphone to my outlook.

Only way i could get any sync was first strangling the cat, wrapping its limp body round my neck, then getting two pieces of celery of equal length.Soaking these overnight in a mixture of lemon juice and urine.Drink the juice at 2 minutes past twelve on a full moon, insert the celery where the sun dont shine and whilst hopping on one footand circling the p.c with the iphone balancing on my forehead.First few times no joy then bingo synched right off.
hope this helps

Okay, here's my problem. Earlier today, I was trying to check a missed call on my iPhone, and I tried to click the phone button, and the iPhone wouldn't let me click on anything, so I try to shut it off, and it acts like it's about to shut off (With that circle thing that lights up, like it's loading...the sign that tells you the iPhone is about to shut off.) and the iPhone has been like that for about an hour now, and won't shut off.
Can someone help me?

From the apple.com website - the 2nd one worked for me:
If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

I dropped my iphone whilst ina changing room and when i picked it up it sed no sim but worked fine the following day although it was runnin out of battery. The battery ran out so i plugged it in the plug socket charger and soon realised it wasn't doing anything so i plugged it in the laptop usb and still nothing happened put it in the docking station in the computer still nothing and the same when i plugged it in to an upstairs socket now if i press the on button it comes up with a battery with a bit of red tht flashes with a lighting bolt and a plug image if i hold it for long enough when the apple comes up it goes onto the password screen but if i press a number it goes bck to the battery again how can i fix this also this is an unlocked phone

I left my phone charging for a few hours and it appeared not to be charging as the battery icon was staying at 10% of charge. I was confused because it had the charging icon in the upper right hand corner. If your phone is doing something similar i simply powered the phone down and turned it back on. The charge went from 10% to 100% on the display. This is what worked for me hope this helps.

I have a unlocked version of iphone i have been able to use safari and other features over EDGE network but when i try to connect to Youtube it says "cannot connect to Youtube"
Posted by welworth on
I FINALLY GOT YOUTUBE WORKING on 1.1.4...
Step 1: backup your settings and files on itunes
Step 2: restore iphone to default( this will erase everything)
Step 3: try Youtube before Jailbreak to make sure its working
Step 4: ***important*** run ziphone for JAILBREAK only!
YouTUBE remains working. when I tried to DO-IT-ALL youtube never worked afterwards.
Step 5: Sync iphone to get your settings, contacts, emails back

Hello, All has been fine with my Iphone but..... I just got on a plane earlier today and watched a Heroes episode on the phone... about half way through I realized the phone said "No Sim" in the Service Carrier area (top left).
Now I'm home I have restarted 10+ times, re-seated the sim 5 odd times.........no luck. I put my wifes sim card in and it knew it was the wrong carrier sim, I also took off the Next Sim 2 from my sim and tried that on its own..... Again, it read the sim and knew it was not the right carrier. I put the Next Sim 2 back on tried again but it just went to "no sim installed again"
I live in Australia so its a huge pain to send it back.... can anyone help??
I have a "Next Sim 2" on my Vodafone sim with a JB'ed 1.1.2 otb.

Hold down the power switch at the top and the main selection button at the bottom. After a few seconds a new screen should come up that allows for shutdown should you slide the slider to the right. DO NOT SLIDE THE POWER OFF. Keep holding the two buttons down. Wait until the silver apple logo comes on the screen. At this point you may release the two buttons. Continue to wait while the iPhone reboots. Once the iPhone finishes booting the "No Sim" message should be gone and you should see bars again. No new sim card or reactivation required!

I had my iPhone at work today and the battery was dying. I got a red battery icon saying to connect to power, then after hitting the main menu button, it just went blank. I got into the car and put it to the charger, no familiar recharge noise nor the green battery icon. I have it home now on the base charger but still nothing is going on. Maybe let it charge for 8 hours before I touch the thing again? Or is there something more serious going on?

I had a blank screen and couldn\'t do anything. I just held the Home and On/Off button together for about 6-10 seconds and the Apple logo appeared, after that it was all sweet :)
It is a pity this happens. Oh well, at least it was simple to reset the phone and fix my problem. Good job Apple :P

My iphone will not detect other bluetooth devices or allow any others to send to it
Posted by JulieDudd on
This is not strictly true - my iPhone connects wonderfully to my Plantronics Voyager 520 headset. It will not connect to other phones, headphones, etc. via bluetooth. It is intentionally crippled and will only connect to a headset via bluetooth.
My guess is that Apple sells songs and doesn't want you trading them around to your friends via bluetooth. Whatever the reason, it's quite annoying.

I want to download my contacts from my Palm Pilot to my Iphone
Posted by Jack Jack on
Just save the contacts as described above "Bring up Palm Desktop. Make sure your Palm phone is
sync'ed up. Show the Address page, select all contacts
(Ctrl-A), and export them with File, Export vCard...
This puts all contact information into a single file as a sequence
Then send the file you saved as an e-mail attachment - using any mail (i.e. gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc) - to your i-phone e-mail. Open this email on the i-phone and push the attachement - it then asked you if you want to add these, click (push?) yes, and select eithr merge or new and voila you got them.

how to insert sim card into 3g ipone
Posted by fagvict on
There is a little hole along the top of the iphone, stick a paper click in and it ejects a tray to put your sime in.
It's not electric, so you need to give it a push
