Try 1234, or the last 4 digits of the phone number. If this does not work
enter 000000.

If the sim is locked you will have to contact at&t for a code.

Test your sim card in the Nokia phone and if the cals still drop then you will need to replace your sim card. If you dont drop calls in the Nokia phone then you will need to have the device replaced. AT&T Customer service number is 800-331-0500 for replacement options.

hi,
does your phone have a memory card?
if yes, do these..
>>if the pictures is stored in your phone memory, then copy the pictures from your phone memory to your memory card. once copied, switch off your phone, remove your memory card, get your memory card adapter, insert memory card and insert it to your laptop sd reader slot and copy the files from your memory card to your laptop. if you use desktop and has no sd memory card reader slot, borrow memory card reader from a friend, connect it your computer, insert the your memory card from there and once read, copy the files to your computer. this also is applicable if you want to copy files from your computer to your phone.
>>if it doesn't have, then, borrow a bluetooth dongle from a friend, pair it with your phone, and send the file from your phone, one after the other...

good luck..

I've heard that drying in an oven, or using a hair dryier on low works for some people. Putting it in a box with a fresh silica dessicant could help, or burrying it in some fresh rice can help extract remnant water. If the phone ends up working, but the keys do not, it could be that just one of the connectors in the phone is corroded. These can be cleaned.

Generally, the keypad does not need to be changed. Usually, one of the flex connectors in the flip (screen/camera) portion of the phone is loose, dirty and/or corroded (maybe from water, sweat, wear, trauma, etc). This is relatively easily fixed by a semi tech savy consumer. You will need a size T5 star driver (and possibly a T6) and a small screw driver, along with some rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol and some Q-tips.

For more information on servicing your phone, you should do an internte search for RAZR dissassembly http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=t&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLJ,GGLJ:2006 -45,GGLJ:en&q=razr+v3+disassembly and you'll get lots of hits including videos like this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5120755491924318860#

When you have the top case dissassembled, the connector with the black patch on the top is likely loose. Clean the connections thoroughly with alcohol and a Q-Tip and reassemble. If it doesn't work, or only works partially, another cleaning may help (I had to go in twice).

First, you'll want to obtain the IMEI or ESN (serial number). You can do this by removing the battery and looking at the sticker on the back of the phone. There will be several numbers, but only one labeled the IMEI or ESN.

Then contact the provider/carrier the phone is locked to currently (AT&T, Verizon, etc). Provide them with the IMEI or ESN and they will provide you with not only the code, but also with HOW to put in the code since some phones are more difficult than others.

Now the process is complete, and the phone is now ready to be used with a different company.

Thank you for using FixYa!

Do have a nice day and please remember to rate this solution.

Best regards,
