To block calls on your Curve: 1)In the phone, press the Menu key 2)Click Options 3)Click Call Barring 4)Highlight the call blocking option you want 5)Press the Menu key 6)Click Enable 7)Type your call blocking password. To stop blocking calls, highlight a call blocking option, click the Menu key and select Disable. Please note that call blocking is not associated with your device, but instead with your carrier and your SIM. You will need to contact your service provider to purchase/enable call blocking – they will provide you with a password for the set-up listed above (which, by the way, I lifted directly from my Curve – must give credit where it is due!). Hope this helps!

I took it to the original operator who checked the imei ,and they told me the data package was cancelled because the phone was under a business plan of 2 years and someone unlocked the phone so they blacklisted it.

Now I have to make a new contract and all will be resolved.

Thanks hope this helps.

If the cord is fine, then chances are the usb port in the phone is dead. Which results in the phone being dead and worthless.

I'm sorry about that. It is actually a common problem.

Unlock as in use for another carrier? And where did you get this "unlock" code?

ALL paid unlocking services are a scam. The only people to unlock correctly is your carrier.

Your carrier takes your request, sends it to RIM. RIM then sends them the unlock code. And in about 24 - 48hrs you'll get an email with the instructions and code.

So... If your Blackberry OS is "Nuked" your gonna have to reinstall the OS, or get another phone.

Debris gets stuck under there. Get a can of "forced air" blow it on there while rolling the ball. If that doesnt get it out.. There are youtube videos on how to take the trackball out and clean it, but be careful. The 1st time I did that, I broke a lil prong off the housing trying to get it off.. and some of the parts are very tiny, and try to roll away. So be cautious if you go that route.

Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is call up the customer help line of the service provider and ask them for the unlocking code, which will be provided to you for a nominal amount of money.
You can also get the unlock code through online..........i will suggest the website. which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.

maybe no network available in your place or in your setting u did not set up exactly

RIM Blackberry... | Answered on Apr 13, 2011

Chances are it's clogged with dirt and other debris. I suggest using a Q-tip© lightly dipped in rubbing alcohol and run it around the ball and move the ball and just clean it off. That should help.

If not, the ball probably needs to be replaced
