It sounds funny but I have seen this so try it.Have you removed the protective strip on the contacts of the cartridge? the bare contacts must touch the printers. If I didn't see this happen I would not post it,it does. Many people in a rush to install make this mistake.Good Luck.

A lot of times you need to do more than clean sensors to get results. You are getting yellow and pink because either soe colours (blue & black) are dried at the nuzzle or finished.

The procedure am giving you below will determine which is the case.

Ink may be new, but their nuzzles may be blocked; depending on manner of storage. To be sure apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it the nuzzle is not blocked. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nuzzle is blocked. To be very sure of this, place nuzzle in a plate/saucer with a bit water so that the nuzzle is soaked. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then apply the tissue again. If still not well blotted it means ink is really low or empty. If new you should return it for a replacement. In the case of blocked nuzzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.
