Question about Food Mixers
I bought a kitchen aid professional 5 series from the US, its 110 volt 450 watts, I wanted to convert it to 220 volt, as I dont a large transformer sitting in the kitchen, how can I buy spare parts to replace the electrical inside?
The only available Kitchen Aid stand mixers on the European markets are the Kitchen Aid Classic and the Kitchen Aid Artisan.
The best way is to contact a Kitchen Aid service center / repair facility in your area.
Here is the European website of Kitchen Aid: http://www.kitchenaid.eu/eu_EU/ka/ka_europe.htm
If you bought a different Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer (like the Professional series) you probably won't find the required parts to convert it to a European model. The only way would be to use a voltage converter.
I hope this helps.

Hey everyone... I just did a successful conversion from kitchenaid 120v to 220v. All you need are three items: the 220 V armature (spinning part of the motor), the 220V field (stationary part of the motor) and a new phase control board. This will only work with certain mixers listed in the links provided. I used goodmans to source the parts and the manual to change everything out! You can change the plug as well but I just used a standard us to uk adapter. As well, EU regs require an RFI filter... I figured I would just not include that part : ) http://www.kitchenaidparts.eu/documents/pdf/service-manual/classic-svc-manual-new-email-version.pdf KitchenAid mixer electronics electrical components at Goodman

Thanks for the help, tips and reply
I wish you could just add pictures of the parts, may be a links to the parts one by one, there are only 3 as you mentioned. possibly a youtube tutorial.
As the names are not exactly same, for example field part of the motor, there is no field motor with 220v , there is one with 240v and I am not sure if that is the correct part, if not I don't want to say bye to my brand new mixer.Seeing is believing.People may not find enough courage to do it without being sure about the right parts
