Question about Acer Aspire 4930-6862 Laptop
Changed new hard disk then tried to install Windows 7 but the laptop cannot boot from anything I tried. Tried to restore on defaults in Bios but still failed. From Bios, can detect Hard Disk, CD/DVD Drive, even USB drive to boot. But still the error message appear.
To boot up from the DVD drive go into the BIOS setting - boot device order and move the DVD as the first boot device and the hard disk as the 2nd boot device.
If you want to boot up with the USB then move the USB as the first device. If the USB is not listed as a boot device then it is not possible to boot up with an USB device.

This error means that the hard drive is either not connected properly or has failed. To fix it check and make sure the hard drive is connected properly and tight. If it is unfortunately that means the hard drive needs to be replaced.
