Question about Bosch SHU9915UC Dishwasher

Leaking water on floor during drain cycle

Our dishwasher leaks water all over the floor at the end of the cycle, perhaps when the machine is draining. It appears to come from the bottom left of the machine. We have had a repairman out to look and he thinks it might be a pump problem. He suggest if it is the pump that we just get a new dishwasher. Help!

hi..i have a bosch dishwasher that is leaking near, or at the end of the regular wash cycle. it is not quite one year old and the leaking has buckled my hardwood floor in front of the dishwasher. the plumber and the bosch authorized repair person (sent by bosch) have been here and it doesn't leak for them. the leak is on the left side, somewhere near the bottom of the door. neither of them, understandably, has been here through the entire 2 hour regular wash cycle. i don't know what to do...HELP, please. the warranty is up in a few weeks, how can i get bosch to fix it, or better yet replace it??? i don't want my entire floor ruined. the model # isSHE44c02uc/47. the ironic part is that i had a perfectly good, 18 year old kitchenaid replaced with this because i was worried that it would eventually break and ruin my hardwood floor!

I have th same problem when the dishwasher is draining,my repairman
says i need to use less soap so i have and it still does iti have even
tried a different soap. It does it about every 3 or 4 times. I have the
repair man coming out again. The diswasher is in a vacation home and is
used about 20 times a year. As far as i am concerned its still
brand new. We bought it in 2002.

First the source of the leak needs to be identified. pull the machine out from under the counter and remove the left side panel exposing the blue float assembly. Turn the machine on and observe the fill cycle. if water comes out anywhere on the fill mechanism then the inlet valve needs to be replaced. once the machine has filled and begun to cycle cancel the program and drain the unit. observe closly where the leak is happening. a leak during drain usually indicated a leaking drain hose.

I have intermittent leakage at the bottom left of my slimline SDL510P dishwasher. Have cleaned internal filter and doesn't appear to be a kinked hose. Suggestions, please

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a Dish washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occurs. Removing and Cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there is gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Dshwasher has water on the bottom after cycle

Hi
Check the bottom of the machine and where water goes, there might be some scrap food,or other item that is not allowing the water to go in the time when the valve is open. This leaves some water and increases in other cycles, causing flooding on the floor. Also check for bend in the pipes at the back.
Hope this helps

Miele g841sc dishwasher leaks

Typically the machine only uses 5-6 quarts of water, If you're floor is getting 1 or 2 quarts check for a loosly connected intake or drain hose. I've never seen any overflow drain on a Miele. It only fills the bottom of the tub. The machine uses a logic program that continuously checks the level of fill and drain by water pressure weight so it always runs with proper amount, even if your intake pressure is weak. Now, If you add too much soap then the bubbles can carry a few ounces over a worn door seal. If the seal is damaged then more spray arm water can run down the front of the machine into the float pan. But after it gets less than a pint of water the drain float will start thr drain pump and shut-off the machine controls and alert you. It won't let you run the machine until the water ( and the problem) is gone. Call Miele for help.

Water in bottom of dishwasher

You could have a defective fill valve that is not shutting off properly. Look for a fill inlet opening somewhere on the inside casing of the wash tub. Usually it is on the left hand side of the machine looking in. While the dishwasher is sitting idle, watch the fill valve opening to see if water is leaking in. It could be a minor as just a drip. However, over a period of several hours you could end up with a wash tub full of water. Over a weekend with no one home, it could overflow onto the floor. The valve usually cannot be repaired and would require replacing. Good luck.

Dishwasher won't drain all the way

After cleaning the air gap thingy my machine works fine again. This thing sits on the left lower back side of the machine (left when you are standing in front of the machine). It is a transparent plastic box with 3 hoses attached (drain hose from pump, drain hose to the outside and water). Inside the box is a black plastic float. If debris gets caught in there the float gets stuck.
Solution is to remove the part by pulling the 2 drain hoses out (there is a small black clip holding them in) and unclamp and remove the water hose. Rinse and shake the housing until the float moves freely again and reassemble.
