If you have an iCloud account you can backup your iPhone 4 by going to Settings, iCloud, Storage & Backup, Back Up Now.
Then when the new phone arrives and you get the option to restore from a backup choose Restore from iCloud Backup, choose your backup and wait. You new phone will be just like the old one was. Same apps, wallpaper, photos .etc

I recommend Leawo iTransfer to handle this task. It's an efficient iOS data transfer tool. You can follow the below steps to transfer apps, contacts and photos from iPhone 4 to new iPhone 5.

Step 1. Run Leawo iTransfer and connect both old iPhone and new iPhone to computer with the USB cable.

Step 2. Click the name of your old iPhone, and choose files you need in the left sidebar. All files will be shown up in the right part: apps, music, videos, SMS, contacts, and so on.
Step 3. Select the files you need, and click the transfer button at the right bottom. Or right-click the selected files and choose Transfer to > iPhone.
Step 4. Check Transfer to List and choose new iPhone as a target. Then click Transfer Now to start cloning an iPhone to new iPhone.

When you get a new iPhone and want to restore an iCloud backup from your old iPhone to transfer old photos to the new device, here is what you should do.
If you want to restore iPhone from iCloud backup, for any reason, you have to reset your iPhone and erase all data and settings before restoring, according to Apple official site. The downside of this Apple rule is that some data on your iPhone may be mistakenly replaced by backup data and finally lost. So is there any method that we can use to restore iPhone from iCloud without resetting.
Solution1: Get Old images from iCloud Web Version
Step1: Go to iCloud.com using any web browser
Step2: Log in to your iCloud account using the same Apple ID and password.
Step3: Once logged in, click on "Photos"
Step4. Find the photos you needed by clicking Albums, and then All Photos
Step5. Click on the photo and then click the Download button.
Solution2: Recover Old Photos from iCloud Without Reset Via FoneDog Toolkit- iOS Data Recovery

Hope it can help you!

You can resort to iTunes, iCloud or the 3rd-party program to recover the photos and contacts disappeared from iPhone.

Recover Pictures from iTunes Backup

iTunes is quite common for iOS device users to back up and restore data. It is reliable and useful for you to use. Now let's begin to see how to use this tool to find your disappeared photos back in a jiffy.
1) Insert your iPhone into computer with matched USB cord and then run the latest version of iTunes on your computer. Your device will be detected by iTunes automatically. You need to make sure that the computer you use is the one you have backed up your iPhone data before your photos lost.
2) When you are asked to trust the computer, you need to enter your passcode to continue.
3) After that, you need to click on "iPhone icon> Settings> Summary" to choose the option of "Restore Backup" to tap on.

4) Choose the backup that you have created most recently and then click on "Restore" button to begin to recover iPhone data immediately. Make sure your iPhone is connected to computer during the whole process.

The shortcoming of this way is that all your data stored on iPhone will be covered by the backup you restore from iTunes and you are not able to choose the specific photos that you want to get back to iPhone.

Recover Pictures from iCloud Backup

It is handy for you to recover images from iCloud backup via Apps & Data screen.
1) On your iPhone, you need to click on the Settings app on home screen and then hit on "General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings".

2) When you see the screen of "Apps & Data", you need to choose the option of "Restore from iCloud Backup" here.

3) Use your Apple ID to log into your iCloud account and then choose the iCloud backup that you want to restore to your iPhone from.
4) Wait until the restore process comes to an end. You need to make sure the Wi-Fi network is stable and connected during the whole procedure. For more details, check: Fixed: Pictures Disappeared from iPhone

Can not delete apps

the default apps cannot be deleted.
however you can hide them:
  • First of all, shift your app to the home-screen which you want to hide
  • After that tap and hold your app which you want to hide until it creates a new folder for it
  • Now without lifting your finger, drag the app to the dock area
  • Then it will be hidden from your home-screen. To get it back, restart your device
  • This was it!

How to transfer contacts from iPhone 4 to samsung GT-i9070

To transfer contacts from iPhone to Samsung, I suggest you try Jihosoft Phone Transfer. I just switched from an iPhone 4S to a new Samsung Galaxy S6, and this phone to phone data transfer tool worked well to transfer all my contacts, text messages as well as photos, videos, music, etc. from my old iPhone to the new Samsung Galaxy phone. You can download it to have a try. I found it from the video below:
