Question about Mitsubishi WD62628 62" Projection HDTV
Double check when lamp went in it engaged the socket (2 pin) correctly and went all the way in----this is where to begin-------whenever you replace a part on a TV or a car etc and suddenly have a new issue suspect something happened when you replaced that part........

It sounds like you have a bad ballast board, or possibly the power supply going to the ballast bulb. I'm afraid that if you do not have the repair experience on solid state TV sets, you will need to contact and authorized Mitsubishi repair center. Good Luck

If you have a voltage meter you can pull the bulb out and check for continuity by placing the probes on the power plugs of the bulb. If you have continuity the bulb should be good, and it may be the lamp ballast.

you may be on the incorrect input channel. look for an input or tv video button and choose each input until u get a picture
