Question about Lenovo 3000 C200 Notebook
Goes to windows start-up, then it goes black w uth no key response
is there anyway to reset?
You have a hard drive failure. i suggest you take the drive out. if you can. attach it to a usb to sata if possible and run a diskchk and before you do that you can backup docs to the machine you got it attached to. If you are not getting a windows option in anyway shape or form you have a hard drive failure which is why it does not give you any options.

Tips for a great answer:
Oct 09, 2013 | Lenovo 3000 Computers & Internet
Jul 05, 2013 | Lenovo b560 Notebook
Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option:
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Start Windows Normally
Return to OS Choices Menu
Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice
you could select the safe mode option and see if you can get the extended desktop again but first you will have to find out why it crashed
if you select last known good configuration that worked it might give you an idea
hope it helps
