Question about GE Profile Prodigy DPSR513GA Dryer
Turn on the dryer and evrything works but it does not heat up. I can see the pilot flame on but after a few seconds it is off
The pilot your seeing is the ignitor the gas valve coils are probably bad these are mounted on top of the gas supply valve on the burner tube,you need to unplug the unit and remove the top and front cover to access the valve and coils,there are 2 screws securing the gas coil valves onto the gas valve remove these and remove the bracket,unplug the coils and reverse to re assemble the unit

Remove back of dryer and take out the elament shield and replace element don't over strech it start at one side and work it around thank you for useing fixya rate me
