Question about Whirlpool Gold White-on-White 21.9 cu. ft. Conquest Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Ice and Water GD2SHAXLQ Side by Side Refrigerator
Noise stops when depress door switch rest of fridge seems ok
The problem could be very well a relay that has the contacts pitted or weak causing the lighting in display and the interior lights to flicker. Here is a GS6SHEXNS00 Parts List and the relays I can see are in a covered control box near the compressor on page 17 and 18 on the parts list 2304056 Electronic Control I will be here if you should have any questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

0 Degrees is okay!
How long has the compressor been off when you need to switch it off and on to make it start again?
Perhaps it was on when you were out of the room for a short period?
Is it in a room that you spend hours in to be sure that this is the situation!
Do you have a thermometer in the freezer?
What is the model #.
And how old is the unit?
Waiting your response.
Bless You Huuum

Dont know about the noise prob. but I can help with the over heating cabinet. Your condensing coil is dirty and needs cleaned. it is located under your refrigerator or behind the back panel. You should use a brush and vac. it out. Air must travel through the tubing freely in order to cool properly. It should be easy to find following the tubes coming out of your compressor.

switch of your refrigerator then try replacing the light that doesn't work then try to switch it back on. the light might be the cause of the noise. it might be grounded. replacing the light might reduce the noise then observed the noise for a week then if it still making noise that's the time for you to get a technician that could fix your refrigerator.hope it helped... send us a message for more concerns thank you...
