Sounds like the drain pipe is blocked. turn it round and at the bottom there is a pipe check its not blocked. to clean out use an old curtain wire or something that can get up the pipe and flex.

SOURCE: Refrigerator/ water collecting under veggie bins

sounds like you do have a clogged drain tube, its self defrosting but the defrost water is pooling under hte crispers instead of in the drain pan under unit.so you ll either have to remove hte rear panel of freezer and locate the drain trough/ tube, and defrost it allowing for water to drain down, o rclear all the tube leading down to the drain pan.

SOURCE: refrigerator collects water at bottom,

at the top of the fridge section at the center back there is a drain assy/ tube for defrost water to exit the unit and go to the bottom of the outside, this is most likely clogged up. disassemble and clear drain line, hook back up and call me in the morning.

HI thanks for your question. the drain tube is clogged. to repair turn fridge off, for at least 24 hrs. as the frain tube is between the inside and outside wall. so its just not dirt in the drain tube, its frozen . to clear after 24 hrs . purchase a small plastic tube , go to the drain tray at the back shove the small hose up the drain hose and blow air up the tube . it will unclog. thanks the appliance doc. please rate my answer. thanks.

SOURCE: water collects in bottom of refrigerator

When a fridge goes in to defrost it melts the ice on the coils in the interior of the freezer. Often times there is a drain that runs to a sliding tray under the fridge. If this is clogged you will get water building up under the bins.

MY MAYTAG REFRIGERATOR MODEL #MBF2254HEQ IS FORMING ICE UNDER ONE OF THE VEGETABLE BINS. THERE IS AN ACCUMULATION OF WATER THERE AND THEN IT TURNS TO ICE. WE HAVE TRIED LOWERING THE TEMP BUT THAT DOESN'T...

Make sure that the compressor is cutting off at the set temperature and is not cooling beyond.
If Ok then the second part is the leak, check if the condensation is happening into the vegetable section, isit due to constant use, the door is open . now make sure that the tray is cleaned and put on once again to check the water collection.
Look for leaks , if so plug them but it can be condensation, set the fridge temperature lower and make sure the freezer frost is not coming over.

Model CTX18GAZBRWW - (Hotpoint) no-frost - freezer on top Water collects under the vegetable drawers and must be removed every day.

Something to try....on the back wall of the fridge nearer to the top is a little cup like part sticking out. There is water in it but it usually runs down an attached tube inside back wall and ends up under the fridge and gets evaporated. If that tube or the little cup thing is plugged then it will drip in the fridge and collect on the inside bottom of the fridge. So the trick is to clean them out. Check it out ...may solve the problem.

Water appearing in the refrigerator and collecting on the back of the shelves as well at the bottom under the vegetable and fruit containers.

could just be condensation, which is normall, have you put any uncovered/warm/food or salad/fresh fruit in lately, these all add to the"problem"there is no "fix "other than kitchen tissue under the salad /fruit drawers, and throw away once a week.fridges are not frost free.(condensation in freezer is frost)

I have a GE Profile TBX19PAYBRWW, there is water dripping on the inside of the refrigerator and collecting under the vegetable bins and then eventually runs out the front of the door. What can I do to fix...

OK, there is a dranage tube located somewhere at the back or so, and it is probably cloged or piched. Remove your contents of the fridge as necessary, located the tube, check it out, and clean/unpinch as required. That should get things flowing again.

Water accumulation underneath the bottom vetable

Two solutions
1 If a frost free fridge/freezer - ice build up in internal cooler - defrost totally until no more water
2 if ordinary fridge/freezer look inside at the back, you should see a very shallow 'V' shaped plastic channel running to a small drain hole which leads to the rear outside of the unit. This channel collects the water drips from the cooler
Clear this hole with a pipe cleaner or cocktail stick or similar

GE refrigerator leaks water under the vegetable and fruit bins

If the refrigerator is of the frost free type, and most all are today, the unit has a defrost cycle where the compressor is shutdown and a heater comes on to melt the ice buildup on the evaporator coil. This water has to go from a drip pan under the evaporator coil down a rubberized or plastic tube to another pan at the bottom of the fridge where it evaporates. Either this hose is blocked or the opening to the hose is blocked. Find the hose (usually on the back of the unit) and run a long wire with a small piece of cloth attached to the end of the wire to get it flowing again. Your water in the veggies comes from the overflow of the upper pan into the inside of the fridge.

Water in bottom of "fridge" and in vegetable bins

Hi: I'll assume this is should be a frost free freezer. If so the defrost drain is clogged and the water isn't getting to the evaporator pan. Without knowing the specifics although it sounds like a top freezer. Look for a drain below the evaporator coils. The will be in the back of the freezer behind a panel. Some models have a drain hose behind the ref. Use a strong solution of clorox and water to clean it out. The parts list or diagram of the fridge will help you find the drain. If you don't have it enter your model no. at sears.com parts direct. I hope this helps, Jeff

Defroster leaks

you have a cloged evap. drain. the rf is defrosting properly but with the drain be clogged the water has to go somewhere which is generally in the crisper draws on top and bottom models. two way to clear up this issue. turn rf OFF for at least 48 to 72 hrs. to allow the drain to de-ice or take matters into your own hands and take the back panel off of the freezer and using boiling hot water pour it down the evap. drain tube until it flows like you just flushed a tiolet

the drain hole is blocked in the bottom of the fridge. if the water is not able to drain down the hole it will overflow into the fridge base. check any holes at the inside back of the fridge.
