The condensate drain line is likely clogged. You will need to disassemble the evaporator panels inside the refrigerator. A small brush or wire can be used to dislodge any debris in the tube. When this line is clogged the condensate water has no place to go. Water will follow the path of least resistance which in your case is where the thermostat is.

SOURCE: PIZZA PREP TABLE BEVERAGE AIR

If you had a repair person to replace the compressor the you should not need to anything more. We believe the repair man have check also of the evaporator and condenser were working ok since from what we undestand he did not mention that they have any problems. So the problem is either the compressor starting kit is not working properly or the repair man left some wires loose. The second posibilty the freon charge is not the proper one and need to be check again if the gas pressure low and high are ok. Finnaly every time we replace a compressor on comercial refrigerator we also replace the freon gas filter if he didn't then there is a posibilty after the compressor replacement the filter to be goggle. As you have already notice from repair person in order to deal with freon gas you need special tools and also you need to have a national licence. Also if you have paid so match money for the compressor replacement then you should demand from them to check why the fridge still have problem to low down the temperature, if they have done a poper jop then the fridge would work better than before.

Standing water in the bottom coolers of my prep table.

The drain is clogged. Check the fitting on bottom of evaporator for a vinyl hose, remove it and using a funnel poor a mixture of baking soda and warm water down it. It will then flow to the heated condensate pan. http://www.beverage-air.com/images/undercounterWorktop/manuals/809-049A.pdf

Won't get cold one of the copper tubes has a hole on the tip and air is coming out is that right

Hello Ramrecycling,

I understand that you are having a problem with your commercial beverage cooler. If I understand right that one of the refrigerant lines have a hole and the refrigerant is escaping from the unit. This will cause the unit not to get cold as the refrigerant is what produces the cold temperature when the fan blows are over the coils.

I am sorry to inform you that this is not a DIY project as it requires many special tools, vacuum pump (recovery unit), refrigerant gauges, scale, and more items that the common DIY does not own or wish to purchase at a costly price.

I would check with local HVAC contractors and tell them that you have already located the leak in the system and what the cost of patching and recharging would be. Then I would look at how economical it would be to fix or just replace the unit.

Thank you for choosing FIxYa.com

Have not used the kegerator for several years. Plugged it in and it immediately started getting cold. Then I unplugged it to move it and when I plugged it back in it does not get cold.

Check to see if any of the compressor electrical items came loose when moving.
I had this happen to a customer and he called someone else in who tried to sell him a new compressor.

Marvel beverage refridgerator is not staying cold anymore

Make sure you have 3-5" of space all around, otherwise it keeps sucking its own hot air and reaches 'equilibrium' and won't get any colder. Ever
