I have a 2007 chevy tahoe Rear liftgate keeps shutting when opened Shocks have been replaced The motor is bringing the hatch back down on its own

Sensor problem , take an have liftgate control module checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . Do you know what DTC'S are ?

Rear Hatch/Gate Description and Operation
Operation
A power open or close cycle can only be initiated from the fully closed or open positions while the vehicle is in park and the liftglass ajar switch input to the liftgate module is inactive. At any time during a power open or close cycle the operation can be reversed by pressing any of the open/close switches. The power liftgate can be switched to manual mode with the on/off switch in the overhead console and during manual operation the power latch will still operate. During power liftgate operation the liftgate module continuously monitors the liftgate position and load profile. The position is calculated from hall effect sensor counts and the electrical load of the gear motor is used to determine physical resistance to the liftgate. Both of these profiles must be learned before the liftgate can operate properly and relearned any time most liftgate components are serviced.

Object Obstruction Detection
The liftgate control module continuously monitors power liftgate operation and calculates its location and direction of travel using 2 hall effect sensors that are part of the gear motor assembly. The hall effect sensors are 3 wire sensors and are supplied with a 5 volt power circuit, ground and signal circuits from the liftgate control module. The hall effect sensor signal circuits are referenced from battery voltage within the liftgate control module and pulsed low by the hall effect sensors.
The power liftgate system uses a secondary object detection method which consists of object sensors fixed to both sides of the liftgate near the seal area. The object sensors consist of an internal fixed resistor and normally open switch contacts which when closed will bypass the resistor. The signal circuit is supplied 5 volts through a resistor and monitored within the liftgate control module, and during normal power liftgate operation the signal circuit should remain a fixed value. When an object presses one of the sensors the contacts close and the resistor is bypassed causing the signal circuit voltage at the module to go low.

DTC Descriptor
DTC B1019 00: System Configuration Error
Circuit/System Description
When calibrating the liftgate position, the liftgate module (LGM) is placed in a functional state to learn the liftgate travel limits. DTC B1019 00 will set automatically as an indicator that the system is in learn mode and not as a fault indicator. Once the travel limits are learned by the liftgate module, the LGM will exit calibration mode. If the LGM does not exit learn mode, DTC B1019 00 will remain current and indicate a fault.

Checking crankshaft sensor 2001 blazer 4wd

Usually if I suspect the crank sensor, I just replace it. It should be located by the harmonic balancer, on the end of crankshaft. As you can see three wire connector, ref voltage--ground--signal. The green wire is ref voltage, 12 volts. The purple wire should be ground. The yellow wire is signal, the signal should switch, dc pulse.

2007 Suburban power liftgate will not open with FOB or manually. It sounds like it is out of sync when trying to open

Did you take it to a qualified repair shop an have the liftgate module checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's ? Do you know what DTC'S are ? Very complex electronic's .Need a factory or professional scan tool to read these code's .

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer I6 suddenly began overheating at idle. Parts replaced within the last 2 months: Fan clutch, Tstat, radiator, radiator cap

How about the water pump ? Who replaced the parts ? A qualified repair shop ? Were codes checked ?
The PCM controls the electro-viscous fan clutch engagement. The PCM regulates a 12-volt pulse width modulated signal (PWM) to the cooling fan relay. The PWM signal determines the ON time of the relay. As the commanded state of the fan clutch increases, so does the ON time of the relay. This ON time directly effects the amount of time the solenoid, which is internal to the fan clutch, is energized. When the solenoid in the fan clutch is energized, it opens the spring loaded valve and allows fluid to flow from the storage chamber to the fluid coupling of the cooling fan clutch, increasing the fan speed. When the solenoid is de-energized, the spring loaded valve closes, and blocks the path of the fluid to the fluid coupling of the fan clutch, reducing fan speed.
The fan has the ability to create a feedback signal, so the PCM has an actual fan speed input. This is done with a hall effect sensor internal to the fan clutch. The PCM supplies a 5-volt reference and a low reference to the hall effect sensor. The hall effect sensor returns a signal pulse through the cooling fan speed signal circuit in response to the relucktor track passing by the magnetic field of the hall effect sensor.
Was electrical tested before fan clutch was replaced !

Music hall mmf 2 not working with pre amp

The pre-amp has failed. Since you can hear the signal with the deck plugged into the amp that proves the cartridge and deck are working.

What happens with Bad Hall sensor?

the "Hall" sensor is a magnetically operated switch (actually a coil of wire) that senses the magnetic field pulses from the motor as it rotates and sends these signals to the C.C.U. control unit on the machine,if this switch goes open it cannot read these signals so most of the time it will show "LR" code which means" Locked Rotor "the actual terminology is "Hall-Effect" Sensor

I want to know the purpose of the Hall sender together with the Impulse rotor on Audi A4 cars. Can a car run normally without these parts?

The rotor passes through the Hall Effect sensor when the engine is turning. Each time the rotor passes throught the Hall Effect it sends a signal to the ignition module telling it which cylinder to fire. The vehicle will not run with these parts removed.

No spark or fuel on my 92vw golf

check voltage to both coil and hall sender. should get battery voltage across two outer terminals on hall sender. battery voltage at black wire on coil. should get 5volts[pulsing] out put on center wire on hall sender. if input voltage ok but out put not, hall sender faulty. coil and fuel pump need an engine speed signal to activate.
