Need to restore my sony vaio vpcee31fx

You can restore the sistem to a previous time you choose ,or you can Recovery it to the Original Factory State ,you better get an USB drive or some discs before ,and get a backup from all your data, than you launch the recovery tools sistem and you wait for the sistem to reboot,it can be 15 minutes or 1 hour ,but it will be as new.

How to restore my computer at earlier time

Click on start, then programs (win xp) or all programs (win 7). Find accessories and click on it. Then find system tools and click on it and you will see system restore and click on it.

After clicking on system restore, follow the prompts and choose a date. The application will complete the restoration process and reboot your pc when finished. Once the pc restarts the process is complete.

My crystal eye web cam is lost

When you say lost, it means the application is no longer listed in the programs list?
In this issue you can try to do a "System Restore".
To access "System Restore" in any Windows OS version.
1. Click start 2. Programs 3. Accessories 4. System Tools 5. System Restore
Look for a date where the applications was working fine.
For example the problem just started, you can try to do system restore from the date where all applications was working fine.
If all fails then uninstall reinstall the software for your webcam.

Windows shows that file assm of Service Pack 2 is missed and I can not start the computer. It asks me to type a path to assm file. What should I do? Where to download and how to make it acessible

Hello over there :O)

Try to start your computer in safe mode; you do this in this way : Start the computer and press the " F8" button and then you come in a menu mode. Here you choose "start the computer in safe mode". Here you choose to restore your computer in a early date (system restore). You find the app in : Start-All Programs-( Applies )- Sistem Applies- Sistem Restore. You can also find this feature in "help and support" in the start menu.

Hope that helps
If not then try to return here

Operanting sistem in quarenten

Any antivirus; unless it finds virus, never moves a file to quarantine. If it moved, then probably your OS is occupied entirely by virus.
Which antivirus are you using? Are you able to login into your system ? If yes, open the quarantine folder and replace all items. It is best if you do it in safe mode. Then scan for that trojan horse again. But before that, back up your important data and then scan. I recommend you remove all the virus after backing up of data and format your system once (all drives) and do a fresh install of OS.

If you are unable to open quarantine, try system restore to restore to a point earlier before that scan. It is in All Programs>Accessories>System Tools.

System restore stopped working

Hello, Troubleshoot System Restore:

Some common problems that could cause System Restore not to work properly and their solutions include the following:
• There is less than 200 MB of free space available on the computer—free up some space on the hard drive by deleting unused files or images.
• After rebooting, the restoration is unsuccessful—choose an earlier restore point and try again.
• Restoration was denied due to non-administrator status—log out and then back in as an administrator.
• The System Restore Service is not running—Open Administrative Tools, click Computer Management, and then click Services and Applications. Click Services, and double-click System Restore Services from the list. Verify the service is started and running. If not, under Service status, click Start and change the startup type to Automatic.

Either system error or malware/virus/trojan.

Try to do a system restore.
