SOURCE: no color printing with lexmark x4270

Actually your printhead on the cartridges is probably clogged. I usually take the cartridges out, wet a paper towel and put in a dish and put in microwave for 20 seconds, then put the cartridge printhead on the paper towel for 10 seconds, and then blot with a dry towel. You should see the various colors in the color and black cartridges. Do it several times until ink in freely flowing. Put back in printer and run a clean cycle and try printing normaly. Have you told your pc the fax equipment you want to use, and does it appear in the device managers list?

May be too much info blocking up print memory. Before printing off sites, make sure you clear print queue and slect printer friendly versions. Check to see if your printer has a work online or offline setting in preferences too.

Did you remove all the blue ink from the cartridge? It is possible that there is still a small amount left. Just keep on printing until the blue ink runs out and the black ink will replace it.

I have all the correct color cartridges on my MP530 color printer. All of the sudden it coated a blue tint to my color printings. My print out look blue. Any suggestions I can correct the printer to print...

Just make sure the right colors are in the right place, photo magenta is not interchangeable regular magenta. Also run the nozzle check to make sure all colors print, if after 2 deep clean cycles you don't have all colors you may need a new printhead.

When printing a photo has a yellow/green tint. All other functions work it prints and scans great. Just have a problem with printing photos.

Possibly it is running low on Blue ink - because colors are usually a mixture of inks - for example green is made from blue and yellow - if an ink runs low it will print the available colors or substitute the next available color.Probably if it prints green yellow - then it has no blue available to make the right shade.

Prints "blue" on a document that supposed to be "red"

the red color contains the blue and magenta colors so your problem is not printing blue insted of red , your red laser miror is dirty from inside you should open the back of the printer then open the laser scaner then clean it then replace it
